I always enjoy seeing lines in articles like this that read "relatives are questioning police accounts of the moments leading up to the crash." Like that actually has any bearing on the fact that these two guys were operating their motorcycles at 100 MPH. And I'm pretty sure that they realized there was a trooper behind them at some point, so they went faster to try to elude him, and wrecked. Sure, it's tragic that these young men died, but the fault for that lies soley on them, not the police.

I am very sorry for the family. This is very sad, but the young men should have been more careful. Blaming or questioning the police for people who drive like idiots is not the answer. May the two young men rest in peace.

first my condolence goes out to their family. but WHY are relatives questioning police accounts of the moments leading up to the crash. come on, it's plain to see that the boys were trying to elude the police. why parents and relatives make fools of themselves questioning the police officers in situations like this? that's stupid on their behalf.

As usual, I can hear the family comments now. My sons were "good" boys and would do anything for their fellow man. Therefore, the police were at fault. ACCEPT BLAME WHERE IT BELONGS, not place it where it doesn't

They got what was comming to them. 1 was riding on a stolen bike. HELLO!!

The owner of the bike wont get the bike back, but at least he knows that the "ALLEDGED" theif, paid the ultimate price.

World is better off, with 1 less theif in the region.

I hear bikes race up I-95 all the time, at high speed, and I live over a mile away from the road. Their rider's know the risk. If you wreck at 100 mph, who's fault is that?

Personally, I think someone needs to declare open season on these worthless SOBs. Motorcyclists who try to do tricks or outrun cops deserve lead through their helmet. And people who exploit $h!+ like this (ie. the makers of Biker Boys or The Fast and The Furious) deserve a short drop and a sudden stop.

Were they riding on the same motorcycle? Yeah, I can see the relatives asking about the incident because anyone of you would also if this were someone in your family. Seems as though they may have been totally different around others than with family members? Anyhow, I am sorry that these two died. Brothers at that. I agree when someone said take responsibilty. These guys could have pulled over just like some of the other motorists did. They made that choice to do what they did.

wow, to all the people here who made rude comments, that is just ridiculous. you guys are just believing everything you read, but imagine if it happened to you, and the police blamed you for something you didn't even do. would you want to rest in peace knowing that the people who loved you and cared about you thought wrongfully of you? if the facts arent out, dont dare to judge. wishing harmful things upon others is just going to come back and bite you in the ass. these two guys didnt deserve to have their lives taken away. so dont lie and say you've never sped in your life, because that is bullshit. things happen, so respect them and their families. i know people who were friends with these two guys, and it just so happens they were good people. so before you decide to make rude hateful comments, grow up first. RIP Suky Aming & Suky Shamil Heureaux. I pray for you and your families.

Sorry for your loss Maximo but rather than hang your head in shame for raising 2 idiot sons who would run 100 MPH from the cops on stolen crotch rockets you accuse the Maryland State Police of lying.

Surely people realize that the cop in this case was doing what he was authorized to do. These young men were endangering the lives of everyone on the road just as Rodney King was when he sped through a LA neighborhood. What if King had killed a mother and infant while they crossing the street? Would the rioters and protesters been so sure injustice had been done? This case is the same. What if the bikers had killed someone or injured an innocent person? Would the protests of the family or anyone else really matter as much? Perhaps if these gentlemen had been taught a little respect for others then they would still be alive. The heavily traveled roads of America are not the road of the Dominican Republic and people who came here years ago should adapt to American conditions. Sorry for the loss and it goes without saying that not all police chases end with good results. In fact, the officer, although right, would probably agree if he knew two men would be killed then he would not have pursued. A stolen bike, high speed, endangering the public, it is hard to find fault with the law.
Thank You

As a former police officer I would like to thank those you that support what we do out here on the roadway. Unfortunately tragedy was the outcome of this incident. For those of you that enjoy riding motorcyles you have to use common sense. Driving at 100 mph out on the roadway not only endangers your life but the lives of others. The police can only do so much to help protect our roadways. I think society in general has to help as well by teaching these motorcyclists that safety comes first.

This was an unfortunate incident; the loss of two sons! It's more tragic to see/hear a father blame the trooper for his offsprings behavior. Wow, big shock; lawsuit on the way? Going after the deepest pockets he can find! They chose to run (one on a stolen bike)! Dad is not concerned that one of his kids has someone else's property!
Hey dad, suppose the trooper would have died trying to stop YOUR two sons? Who would you blame then?
Or try this one: the two bikes blow pass that new teenage driver at over 100mph. The teen driver loses control and crashes! Let me guess, not YOUR son's fault!
P.S. Two of the three bikes stopped for the cop,the third kept going. Didn't one the two that died have to pass the cop at some point? You know, to help his brother out????????

Dear Mr. Parent of criminal sons (retired),

While it is tragic that you must grieve the loss of your sons, it is better that they died rather than innocent others lose their lives in the course of their recklessness.

They were speeding.
They fled and eluded the police.
They were driving recklessly.
They were in a pack of riders, at least one of which was operating a stolen bike.

Do (did) your sons have a traffic or criminal arrest record by chance? If so, is this an underlying factor in your belligerent attitude against police? Why have you not apologized to the public for your sons actions and placing them in danger?

The police and accident reports will reflect the truth and facts of their deaths, just as it happened, and just as it was described.

This incident is just another example of natural selection and job security.

good riddance! these types of punks are just as dangerous with vehicles as they are with guns. They have no business with either. Actually this is good news since no one innocent suffered.
