mine certanly dosent those people(not all but most) are completely cold and have turned this into a complete money grab the grandpa that had custidy isnt but other family is sueing everyone they can for muney it makes no sense also that court sucked they have more than grounds for an apeal
like dont git me wrong i have met cassie and she was way knice but still putting a kid in jail with an unfair trial even if they were guilty is just like murder

Everyone on here who is so worried about other people's grammer needs to just get over it. The point of you being able to leave messages on here is to voice your thoughts and concerns with regards to a specific topic (the murder of a child in this case)not put other people down for their faults. It is NORI Jones and if these boys were in any way connected to her murder, they would have been 13 at the time. (IMO not likely) The police are not releasing the name of her murderer because they severely botched their chance of getting him for the crime. He is already in jail anyway on a probation violation.

I've also heard they pretty much know who killed Cindy Bringhurst but can't prove it. I was told the woman she was babysitting for had her keys stolen from her purse at the bar that night, the guy sitting next to her was questioned later and was found wearing a t-shirt full of blood, which he blamed his cat. The police left to get a search warrant and he had cleaned up everything when they returned. Same guy has been in and out of jail/prison ever since. Well, that's what I heard about 8 years ago, let's hope something pans out soon.

In March 2005 he was sentenced to up to 13 years in prison on a probation violation. Interestingly enough, the violation was "attempting to start a relationship with an unwilling female". Well, guess who that female was? When the police were asked if that female was Nori, they would not comment.
At this point, I have very little faith in that police department. I pray that they will prove me wrong someday soon.

gbear - Is there any proof the "unwilling female" was Nora Jones? To date, it's only been a strong rumor. Somewhere way back I thought they finally said no it wasn't her but I could be remembering wrong.

I was checking on what was at one time our local everyday newspaper. I cannot believe that it has fallen so far that it prints all the swearing and crude comments.Is this necessary?????

I have been waiting for 25 years for someone to step up to bat and solve it. All I know is that two weeks after she went missing she was supposed to be in MA visiting me. Instead, they found her eight weeks later her body so badly deteriorated she had to be identified her by her dental records.

Since it blew Auntie Nancy and Sherry to the wind, I've had to search online. Have been waiting for this opportunity a long, long time.

I am amazed at all the unsolved murders in a town the size of Pocatello. If the cops would have the proper training maybe they would know how to process a crime scene {Norie Jones} in particular and solve some of these crimes.
Maybe they need to watch more forensic files or cold case files,but that's just my opinion.

How come we haven't heard anymore about the Norie Jones case? Has everyone just forgotten about it.
The house she lived in was right on a busy street.There was some kind of counseling place right next door anybody could have seen right into her window from there. I wonder if they questioned anybody from there.Also the people who owns the property where she lived.I notice it is still empty.
