Hi there my friend! I have taken a p/t job and will be working the next 3 days about 6 hours a day. I'll tell ya about it. See ya shortly. Gotta take the daughter over to a friends and get some tomatoes while I'm out. My poor little plants aren't being show offs at all. Just like last year---pitiful. I'll not buy any more tomatoe plants from Home Depot.

LOL..so true. Part-time to me means 3 or 4 days a week 8 hours a day. I checked my 'time' yesterday and they have me 'working' 4 to 5 hours a day, 6 days and open for call in on the 7th. Needless to say, that ain't gonna fly. Heck, I'll just be paying for my gas back and forth with those kind of hours. Pretty bad when ya can't afford to go to work, ehhh?

I really feel the pain of folks who 'have' to take jobs like this one. I don't know how they survive. It pays over $9 an hour, but with the short hours it's just not worth the trouble. I believe everyone who works there has pretty much the same sort of hours, thus no benefits---no nothing except what they can save after taxes and gas. Its a shame.

Am thinking about going back to my old job from hell---good money, good benefits, they pay the gas---down side is no family time and too much BS. You know how those government jobs are. Married to the job....nah, changed my mind. lol

Think I'll just enjoy life thru the summer and fall and find something around October.

Sounds like a good plan to me!!! "The Boss" keeps telling me that I cnan get a PT job after February, but I've no idea what makes her think I want to go back to work.

She goes to work every day, 70 moles roundtrip, and the cost of the petrol is about $85.00 a week. tTo me, it just ain't worth it, but she has to prove something to that bunch, so....
