Day Care Provider Has Been Arrested

Weatherford police have arrested a day care operator on a first-degree murder complaint after the death of a 10-month-old baby in her care. via KOTV Tulsa News

I cannot begin to understand how the parent of this child must feel. This is a tragedy of the greatest magnitude. God bless and care for you.

What has happened in this case? You never hear a follow-up.
My heart goes out to all the families hurt by this incident.
Did the daycare provider really violently kill this child or was it a terrible accident grossly exaggerated by the media?

i'm not suprised. i know the lady...it was just a matter of time. As a parent,I feel for the childs family.

This is a tragedy that never should have happened, but it was not pre-meditated nor did she mean to hurt the baby............this incident has destroyed both families....she was out on bond, but has recently been revoked and sent back to jail for shoplifting items from Kmart. Both of these families need to be prayed for.

I am really curious how she was received in the community when she was out on bond. If I were the mother of Luke O'Daniel, you would have to restrain me if I saw her out in my community walking the streets, living her life.

Im from Weatherford & a friend of mine that takes her kids to the daycare that the mother of the woman that killed the child runs told me that the girl was to be released from jail because the police didnt read her her rights when they arressted her, may or may not be true.

Yes, that is true, but because, her dad was a police officer in weatherford, and her mother owns a daycare, it's all about protecting the white people in weatherford, if she were a black, chinese, mexican,indian, those minorities would have been sent to the hanging tree, Lindsay ought to thank custer county judicial system because, she isn't a minority.

I am not sure who you are in Kingfisher, But, I worked with Lindsay in a daycare here in Stillwater and I can and will stand on the fact that she would never hurt any child on purpose. This is a terrible, tragic accident.
Both families need all the prayers and support they can get. There will be no happy ending in this case, not for Lukes parents or for any of Lindsay's family. The system has failed, they have torn a beautiful family apart, children who will never know thier Mommy and all because the judicial system once again thinks they have to grandstand these situations.
God Help them all.
