Fight the Texas Driver Responsibility Law

Hello everyone! The TX Driver Responsibility Law is a very little known law that requires Texans to pay over $700.00 (if you pay upfront) for certain traffic violations and/or points.
I received a ticket four years ago for having no car insurance. I did the crime and paid the fine. I was released from all fines and fees from the TX DPS. However, the TX DRL gives the TX DPS the right to require over $700 MORE from me and suspend my Driver's License if I don't pay. TX DPS doesn't have to notify me and I can't seem to find the appeal process. This is a violation of our constitutional rights!

I read your spill (or should I say "dribble") about how your insurance company didnt renew your policy on the weekend and were involved in a accident that weekend...do what???

You just had to drive somewhere didnt ya! If you had to go to work, someone couldnt have picked you up, noooooo. That would have been too smart! You deserve whatever the Great State throws at ya and wuite frankly I hope they tack on some more "new and fun" fines to utterly blow your mind.

Guess, obviously you didn't read my page. I had no idea that I was without insurance till after the ticket. So again, I paid the ticket, fine and all costs.
Thanks for your opinion, but if you are in a car accident: it puts you into the TX DRL. Research your info before you call someone an idiot.
