What malfuncioned, isnt this the reason you have a secondary regulator? Guess he will be buying a spare air tank in the future.

He ran out of Air......probably needs a Dive Computer with integration and an alarm.

You know it's amazing how people love to criticize when they only get part of a story or try to save the world from their couch. More than likely it was my fault. Yes I had a dive computer and yes I had a secondary air, but at the depth I was at when something goes wrong it can go WAY wrong. When you get choked and you can't get your breath, I don't care how prepared, how many dives you have under your belt or how in control you think you are, instinct takes over after so long. I remember just about everything up until I lost conscious and the only thing I know for sure, I WAS IN GOD'S HANDS!!! Did I learn anything,YES!!! From now on I will be making some changes on deep dives and reconfigure my equipment. Thanks for the comments. I thought this would never happen to me. I just hope others can learn you can never be to safe and always check and double or triple check your equipment. It only takes a second for something to go wrong.
