Man Clinic Loses Federal Grant

According to the Health Services and Resource Administration, the Community Health Foundation of Man has lost it’s competitive federal grant to Lincoln Primary Care. This grants provides federal funding as well as tort claim malpractice insurance for the physcians at Community Health Foundation. Losing this grant could mean that the foundation is not longer a federally qualified health center. They may also have to seek private malpractice insurance to cover the physician practice.

if this is the Deano that I know, he knows exactly what he is talking about, and if it is the case then I would hate it for the residents that use the clinic but for the Board of directors and the CEO they brought this on themselves it sounds like the previous board they had in place before this edministration was doing a much better job maybe they should get that board back again.

previous board,ceo and cfo didn't know crap, when they got kicked out the clinic only had about 400.00 in the bank and dean you are just mad because you got fired and it's killing you that the clinic is doing so good

at least the previous board didnt have the troubles that the clinic has now, I dont think that the clinic is doing all that well if they were they would have kept all of the employees that was with the previous administration, they didnt keep them because they couldnt afford to pay them. Deano was the BEST CFO that the clinic has EVER had if he wasnt that good why did he work there as long as he did?

you should know since you know it all that there is no employees laid off they have all been called back and even hired more as we speak, if you have nothing better to do then maybe we should contact your boss and let him give you more for his money.

Really, They never called my kid back. Child's been laid off for several years now. maybe we should contact your bosses and let them know your hiring people back since the clinic never called my child back. I will tell my child to come see y'all and get her job back. Also can I get your name so my child can tell the CEO that you said all the employees was called back.

it was a test to further his CPA degree after all if he was NOT a Certified CPA the Clinic would NOT have hired him years ago when they did.

No he was not a CERTIFIED CPA, the only reason Mr. Williamson kept him was because he felt sorry for him. And the reason Mr. Mays kept him was just as DUMB as DEANO

are you that stupid as you so called Mr. Mays The federal govt. and any other organizations WOULD not let a person handle financial dealings if they wasnt a certified CPA, are you sure your CEO is qualified since he couldnt do the job before Mr Williamson reign.

Your the that's stupid, DEAN was not certified, that's the reason the clinic is the shape it is now.MrChafin (the CEO)has tried for the last 3 years to get the clinic back on track because Mr. Mays was not qualified to do the job nor was Dean.

I hope this is'nt ture, there are people in our area, that have no were else to go, expect for the clinic's in town, and if u don't have ins. at one of them u can't be seen, no this for a fact. my son in law went and they turned him away because of no ins,. it's coming to that at the hospital in logan as well. no ins. or some cash no test or some cases' no doctors vist. please make sure your facts are wright. people take some of this to heart!!.

Easiest way to lose Federal Grants is Financial Record Keeping not being up to date. Records are manditory in departments watched by the malpractice insurance companies. Some employees are considered non-hirable if your laid off a few years take a hint move on theres another hopital down the Road.
