Incest in Arab Police Department

I recently came across some news that has sickened and saddened me. I have found out that an Arab Police officer is having sexual relations with his great niece. He took the poor girl under his care in the pretense that he was rescuing her from an unsafe home environment. Now he has become the unsafe environment. This girl has just turned 18 years old and has been seduced into a sexual relationship by her great uncle who is 46yrs old. This is not only a moral issues but an unholy act. How are we suppose to feel safe in Arab when the one who are suppose to protect us are the hidden perverts. I feel that the police department should investigate into this issues and see if the girl feels threatened or powerless with no options or a way out. If she leaves she goes back into the bad home environment she ran from. this is sick and something must be done!

I don't know if this is true or not and I'm not sure what's going on with the comment below it, but it looks like if this is going on then Arab Police department should investigate it. Arab's already had trouble with one of their cops let hope they don't have more trouble. I heard there is a petition going around to have Arab pd investigated and if anyone knows where it is to sign I would like to know. also if it is true about the officer. THAT'S GROSS!!!!

Why do people feel the need to insult and put down all of the Arab police department for the actions of a few? I honestly know some of the officers that Arab has been blessed to have like Ed Ralston-very nice, honest man that would give you the shirt off his back even if you were a criminal-he would still not hesitate to arrest you : P or Jerry Self, Mike Blackwood, Cass Lambert-sometimes a pretty nice, cool guy unless he is with Seth sullivan-he is not on the good list. There are exceptions to any department as is to be expected anytime you give someone power that can easily be corrupted by it. I dont have a clue if this whole incest story is true, If it is then it's God's place to judge. Yes I do believe that is very sick and disgusting and I wouldn't doubt that a girl (any girl/always usually a girl) would make up some story about a guy (cop or otherwise). I think an investigation should be done, but other than that why do you people get on here to argue? What is judge judy at a commercial break or something? Losers!

If this story is true then why have you not reported it to the Human Resource? I would go to them and let them handle this. You are wrong if you know about this and do not do anything. Just don't tell the Mayor, go to the Feds! Contact the Attorney General of Al

First of all, if you aren't from Arab you have no right to even message on this forum and should be worrying about the corruption in your own executive and judicial systems. Second, please get an education, or at least learn how to spell and use proper grammar, watch something educational for a change besides local programming or reality TV. And last but not least, I have lived in Arab for my entire life, I know the majority of the officers and know that this extreme claim is more than likely false. The one case I do see as true, just by reading this thread, is that a woman is mad at a man who happens to be an Arab police officer and is making false claims about an incestual relationship, also known as slander, which is illegal.

eric i agree i live in arab my self. i was born in the hospital down the road from my house. people tend to judge many based on the actions of one. it is very wrong but its true. i wish it wasnt.ive been in two wrecks and i am blessed that the arab police dept. was there to help me and make sure i was ok. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! and seth sullivan is awsome!!! hes been tha arab high schools band cop for years and i love him.

To False Accusations if every thing is false why is the niece preganant and the officer/jailer/dogpound guy putting her on his insurance and saying that he is supporting her and the baby is his. The truth is finally coming out. He can not hide her having his baby she goes around town with him and they go to the cotton gin on the weekends.
