WE rates slam city's poor

Look at the board members, look at their income where they live and you'll see that they have no problem paying their electric bill. I am on a fixed income, my home is 1650sq.ft and my electric bill for last month was a dollar shy of 400.00 what will it be for this month I don't even want to guess. Does the city really need our money that bad? Are the members expecting a pay raise? Why did they switch providers did they get a kick back? I wonder....

I agree 100% with the comment from Mike Markalonis. Up until last month I told people at my workplace in Ft. Worth how great Weatherford was about keeping our Electric within reason, now look at it. We are one of the most expensive around. We do not make the money that Jennifer Fadden makes. My brother lives outside the city limits (TriCounty) and his house is double the size of mine with a built in swimming pool, his bill was right around mine.How can that be? I too wondered if someone is getting kick backs to pad their already wealthy pockets. I think we should all take our retail business to Willow Park and Hudson Oaks and let them benefit from our Tax Dollars. Let's see how Weatherford likes that. The problem is, it would take alot of us doing this before they might notice the difference.

The "leaders" of this great city are running it into the ground. For the first time in my life, I am ashamed to call myself a Weatherford resident.
