This is what the FLDS believe, and you take their side.
Race

In its Spring 2005 "Intelligence Report," the Southern Poverty Law Center named the FLDS Church to its hate group listing[47] because of the church's teachings on race, which include a fierce condemnation of interracial relationships. Warren Jeffs has said, "the black race is the people through which the devil has always been able to bring evil unto the earth."[48]

In that, You're right, God doesn't make mistakes. YOU do, however, and you insist on being right when you DON'T have the answers..when there are people who DO!
How does God speak to everyone? He has never done that before...He has ALWAYS had a Prophet which he used to tell people of his will. Why would THAT change???for YOU?
He loves all of his children, but he doesn't tell EVERYONE what is happening...have YOU had any personal visits from God? Yeah, didn't think so...I know I haven't...YET..I DO know that there IS and always WILL be a Prophet...your unwillingness to accept it does not change that fact!
Christ died on the cross for me and you. And yes, I have talked to God many times myself. I do not need some human man to do it for me. Your so called prophet> LOL
You need to read the Bible sometime. It will lead you to the right way. Also, go to a real church and you will hear the truth.

well things ARE quite a bit different today than oh say 177 years ago...but that is just me...if I am not mistaken...we had slavery 177 years ago as well..the Civil war hadn't even happened yet..
We didn't decide to move, we were FORCED out..there is a difference.
why do you say "allowed" Who was going to disallow it? There was a LAW in Missouri that gave people the right to KILL Mormons until about 15-20 years ago.
the reason for polygamy in the first place had NOTHING to do with the polygamy that is happening NOW...we had lost a LOT of men due to the 1838 Mormon War, The Mormon War in Illinois in 1844 and The Utah War (Buchanan's Blunder). Due to hundreds of men dying in these wars, there was a need to have men taking care of families that were left without husbands as well as assuring that the community would still have men in it to do the farming.
There are many countries in the world, I'm sure you can find another place of landing for Jesus besides Independence, Mo, espeially since the landing spot is unavailable for purchase.

Otherwise, you must follow the USA's Laws....

yeah the FLDS and the LDS ARE different...and we do not in ANYWAY practice the same religion nor do we carry the same morals. I have ONLY 1 wife WHO IS A DARK LATINA-WE'D HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT OF THE FLDS. I have NEVER had more than 1 wife in the last 9 years of my ONLY legal marriage.

We have 2 children who are biracial and would be kicked out as well.

We do NOT hold Warren Jeffs as ANYTHING MORE OR LESS THAN THE CRIMINAL THAT HE IS!

HE IS NOT OUR PROPHET OR LEADER! WE DO NOT HAVE PICTURES OF THAT IDIOT IN OUR HOME...WE HAVE NOTHING AND WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM...FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, I HAVE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO THOSE CITIES THAT THEY TALK ABOUT.

ANYBODY WHO WAS FORMERLY IN THE LDS FAITH HAS SINCE BEEN EXCOMMUNICATED OR IS DEAD OR BOTH.

WE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM NOR WOULD WE REGARDLESS IF UTAH WERE TO LEGALIZE POLYGAMY. IN MY OPINION IF UTAH DID THAT, THEY SHOULD LOSE THEIR POSITION AS A STATE IN THE USA...IF IT WAS THE REASON THAT LED TO THEIR GETTING STATEHOOD IT SHOULD EQUALLY REVOKE THEM IF THE LAW IS PLACED BACK.

WOW...ALL OF THAT RESEARCH LED TO THAT POST? YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE WASTED YOUR TIME...

WE OBVIOUSLY DID FOLLOW THE LAW..UTAH BECAME A STATE IN 1890 AND THAT WAS BY FOLLOWING THE LAW.

OUR 12TH ARTICLE OF FAITH IS AS FOLLOWS:

12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

While the USA is led by a president, obviously we are worldwide where Kingdoms still exist and are to be equally followed regardless of what country you are a member of.

Look we can ALL pray...we can even receive ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS...that is the Holy Spirit..NOT God himself...even in that convoluded notion of a trinity, it would work the same way. God talks to his prophets regarding the Church in the general sense. Things that need to be brought to the attention to the WHOLE Church...NOT individual families. I am the husband and father of my family and I have the right and the PROPER AUTHORITY (Priesthood) to act as a Patriarch of my family and RECEIVE revelation or ANSWERS to my prayers regarding my family.

MY local pastor(bishop) has the proper authority to do the same for the local congregation where I live...he receives revelations or ANSWERS to his prayers regarding those who are in his congregation.(keep in mind that he is NOT paid by the Church for his service!)

Our Church has several AREA presidencies that cover the whole world..they have the authority to preside over those areas and receive revelations or ANSWERS to their prayers regarding the area in which they preside.

Our Prophet Thomas S. Monson is the President of the LDS faith and receives a personal witness of the resurrected Christ and receives revelation regarding the WHOLE Church and all that is included in its business. He receives direct revelation from Christ himself whether it is through prayer or otherwise.

yes, we can pray we can all pray and NOBODY needs a man to do that for him...the prophet even PROMOTES that we DO pray OFTEN every day...but there is one thing between receiving an answer to YOUR own personal prayer..and someone praying about a whole church ESPECIALLY since Christ is the Head of that Church...it is NOT the prophet's place to decide on HIS own or pre-determine God's will as far as how that Church would work...it is as presumptive and offending to God as it is for US to limit His capabilities and tell Him what HE can or cannot do because WE refuse to listen...or accept HIS will on our behalf.

I go to a real Church and I gave you FOUR scriptures FROM THE BIBLE...I am NOT surprised that you have never seen them before...most people who DO tell me to read the Bible have yet to read those scriptures themselves.

Christ also DIED for us...as you mentioned. he also did SOOO much more than that...by ALLOWING them to crucify him and TAKING HIS LIFE BACK again, he overcame the physical death and made it possible that we may ALL be resurrected beings!

He also paid for our sins at Gethsemane and spilled blood from EVERY pore. In so doing, his expiatorial sacrifice made it possible that with ALL of our sins, Christ will act as our Advocate to the Father and will provide the mercies necessary at the last judgement in order to decide whether we'll go to Heaven or not.

ok..was that sarcasm or was that genuine?

either way...look..

I think we're on the same page..we just belong to different faiths...that is totally normal..we'll have differences...all I care is that you can separate us from those idiots of the FLDS..they REALLY have nothing to do with us.

think of it this way...I am ON the internet...if I were one of those perverted cowards from the FLDS....wouldn't I be having sex with all of my many wives right now in some God forbid city that nobody knows where I am?

SEE...that is TOTALLY what is NOT going on...I am a member of the community. I am part of the military..

kinda hard to bleed the beast when you are part of the beast ;)

and while I am for sex like any other man, please...1 woman is ENOUGH to satisfy without worrying about other women as well and their cycles and all of that stuff...I love my wife...I love her enough that I do NOT need 2 women...

the manipulation and brainwashing that goes on in that sect is so far beyond my understanding that I could never involve myself with those sickos..

Coming from a long line of veterans, and married to a Nam vet, veterans are at the top of my list of men to admire.
If they bring back the draft, I would hope they would take the guys from the FLDS. That would at least give them a life they could be proud of.

I wasn't complaining...you were calling my church out and I defended it...so...deal with the results..

don't blame me for defending my faith when you began the whole BS discussion from the beginning and your argument was based on groundless information!

Joy, those men should be put on the front lines with racists and bigots-after all, they're both!
