Nicci Goss is a friend of mine and she is a wonderful person that has gotten caught up in a terrible tragedy. I can only saw that she must have feared for her life for this to have happened. For the person above...you shouldn't wish death on people, karma will bite you in the ass........

Would another person dying bring him back?????????? Way to go...wish death on other people. You would think that making a person live with killing someone and put away from their own daughter would be worse??? I think this whole incident is ended the same way most domestic disputes end...ONE DEAD< ONE ALIVE and alot of people wondering what happened? My opinion is NEITHER(Nicci or Justin) both guilty of NOT doing the right thing.

There's no way that her story can make sense though....if he's a grown man and she's a tiny little thing, i just don't see how there was a "struggle" for the knife (i mean this sounds like the movie "Chicago"). I don't see Justin becoming violent enough to grab a kitchen knife to use as a threat...espeically with his girlfriend. I don't know....my heart goes out to Carol and the rest of the family.

i think that everyone on here sounds very stupid i think that people who dont really know this kid should really find out the truth about him first before you post anything, he was a very good person and he always made even the most unhappy people in our town smile, i will always remember that, the point of posting these comments is to talk about him as a good person if you want to give your opinion that's just fine but keep in mind when you do it that this man's family has to look at this and remeber that they will never see their son, uncle, brother again and it bothers me that people who probably have no clue are the ones posting anything, so do everyone a favor please write something positive because you never know who is reading this and waht effect you have in just stating what you think!!!! my heart goes out to all of his family and his friends because there the ones who wont see his shining face anymore!!

At least people are starting to realize that her story doesn't make sense. I must say however, the Southampton "police" are real avid detectives in their investigation of the situation. Taking the statement of the sole witness, who is also the one who committed the murder of my friend. Bravo detective, bravo..
Whether she is back in South Carolina, hiding with the rest of her rat brood, being kept safe by the law itself, or just running from the truth hiding behind her lies, i'd like everyone to know that murder is murder is murder, and is never justified against someone you claim to "love". To fear for your life is one thing, to take a life that was so kind, and sincere, and then lie about the events is horrible, and i can't see any way that she can live with herself knowing that she took the life of Justin Daniel Stoeckert.

Maybe your mother shouldn't have smoked it while pregnant. Justin didn't do drugs or sit around drinking all the time, he was a hard worker, trying to make money to make life easier for himself and nikki, and she never did anything but give him, and his family grief with all of her bull$@!%.

Stoeckert was a druggie and a woman beater , not that his woman didnt deserve the beatings she got. They sold crack out of thier house and ruined an otherwise nice neighbourhood. They were both the bottom of the human barrel. The days are brighter now that they are both gone... or in her case... soon to be gone. Have nice day. sj

Do you not remember Justin shooting a man in October of 2005? On a road where there are TONS of kids playing in the street everyday? I'm not so sure he was thinking about them that day (not like anyone at that house does anyway).

I'm not saying that he deserved to die. At 20 you have your whole life ahead of you and when you get older, you have a chance of making something of your life. Why is it at 20 years old, he had so many run-ins with the police? Why didn't the kid just go to Suffolk or even try to stay out of trouble? Even at the house he lived in at the time of the shooting, there were so many police reports filed because of that house.. if the "house" was a bad influence then he should have left (which he did after jail) or maybe left town.

Does anyone deserve to die at 20? no.. and I'm sorry for his family, they definitely deserve their time to grieve. Please though, don't make him into a saint. Sounds like he was a lost kid that needed to get out of Hampton Bays.

Feared for her life? She was crazy, and he even said so, shes a murderer, and friend of yours? well you better watch your back, literally, she might stab it
