Does anyone know what happened to the company Blair from Lynchburg VA. They sold home remedies, pudding and pie mixes, spices and seasonings. I can't find any information about this company online. I believe they used other names as well. Dr. Blair's, Blair's Laboratories. They had headquarters in Lynchburg VA.
The former Blair products of Lynchburg is now called Home Style Products and sells many of the same products that have been known for generations from the previous company. Check them out at HomeStyleProducts.com

The former Blair Products of Lynchburg is now called Home Style Products NOT Tri Tech Laboratories. Tri Tech is the former parent company, but Home Style Products has been spun off. Check out HomeStyleProducts.com where many of the same products like Hi Power Liniment, Arthritis Balm and a wide selection of flavorings are still available.

HomeStyleProducts.com does not exist... it goes to HomeStyleProducts.au and is a "chicken meat" speciality website.
I miss Blair also, I sold for them in the early 1990's and had every one of their extract flavorings for a long time.

I also have been looking for the Blair Products, for the one wanting flavorings and pie fillings try Golden Pride or the Old Fashion Rawleigh Products. They also have a lot of liniments and salves. My husband is a dealer if anyone is interested e-mail me at mcnelley@bellsouth.net and we will make contact.

I was Director of Promotional Marketing for Blair from 1969 to 1981. I was head of the new products committee and did all of the mailers the 50,000 Blair Dealers recieved monthly. AH Robins Phamaceutical Company owned it. Sold it to Ted Munchak of Atlanta. He sold it and it no longer exists under the Blair name. Shame!

When I was a little boy. I wa living in the mountains of North Carolina. I was very poor. I clipped an ad out of the Grit paper that I sold for a nickel and mailed it off to Blair and became one of their dealers. I walked the country road and sold their products, Flavor was a big seller to the country women. It sold for.30 cents per bottle and occasionally Blair would have a sale buy one and get one free. I would sell as may bottles as I could and keep the free one for my next sale. I made enough money to have shoes to wear to school and eat in the lunch room. That experience gave me the experience that I needed to be retired in luxery. I am 71 yrs old now.
