I feel as if Mr. Hietpas has taken advantage of many other people's financial services. At the same time I have seen and heard Mr. Hietpas nearly crying when he talks to the Snap-On tool man. He tell the man of how everyone else has destroyed his credit while he was a upstanding and on time responsible bill payer.
After seeing what Fuerst Financial Services and Fuerst Management Group has said all these things have come back that Mr. Hietpas has failed to pay. I remember him telling me that he told Mr. Fuerst there was a flatbed for sale and he should get it for the shop. Mr Fuerst asked how much and Hietpas told him $5,500 but Hietpas said he would chip in a whole $200.00. Mr. Fuerst gave Hietpas the money and when I went with him to get the flatbed the price was only $2,200.00. That means he ripped off Mr. Fuerst of nearly $3,000.00. Mr. Fuerst, who was always very generous and trusting of people and his employees never knew. Zach Hietpas started doing a job on another Corvette after Mr. Fuerst's and the customer gave Mr. Hietpas $4,000.00 in cash towards the body job.
Mr. Fuerst was there checking on his investment like always and when he saw Hietpas receive the money he (Mr. Fuerst) gestured to Hietpas to make a payment but Hietpas quickly went into the office and split the cash up then told Mr. Fuerst he need the money for bills.
I do think Mr.Fuerst was always to easy on Mr. Hietpas when it came to getting payments but that is just Mr. Fuerst trusting nature. I now see how Mr. Fuerst has been used by Hietpas and it is really a shame.

I have to agree. When I had my car worked on I would see Jeff Fuerst talking to the customers, cleaning the shop, and dealing with Zach Hietpas and his friends. One time I heard Hietpas say to Jeff Fuerst when he was cleaning "nice job, are you a maid for a living" very sarcastically like Hietpas was to good to clean the shop he worked at and made a living from. Fuerst even went and got little things after he stepped away from the business. He went and bought a coffee maker, coffee, and filters along with other things the customers may want while they wait. Another time I went in I went to get a cup of coffee and there was old coffee ground, etc. in the coffee maker. That is the difference between Hietpas and Fuerst. Fuerst is not to good to clean his own shop (even though he had already stepped away from the business). Fuerst always thought of the customers and making them comfortable at the least. Zach Hietpas threw a few 4x4 magazines on the table and has not moved them since or replaced them. Fuerst was the one to get the details and small but important things while Hietpas would rather avoid all the customers until it came time to hand them the bill. Which brings me to another point! When Fuerst opened the shop with Hietpas Fuerst said he wanted the lowest hourly rate in the Valley then and this surprised many people Fuerst said "We do not charge people if their vehicle is in the shop bay and not getting worked on". He said he had seen too many shops rip people off by having the car inside and charging them for the entire time it was inside. Fuerst said "You know and I know nobody's car is being attended to the entire time it is in the shop bay and I will be damned if we will charge customers like it is being worked on non-stop. He said we charge to the 1/4 hour rounding off to the least amount of time. He said "people have been ripped off since cars were made and I will not do it. He said even at the lower rates we charge anyone could make a good living. Keep the cost low and the hours minimal Fuerst also said. Fuerst made comparisions to some other local shops that have gone out of business or their price are outrageous because of the name. He said "you will never gain anyone trust by slapping a $700.00 bill in their face for something that takes one hour and the part(s) cost $40.00". He meant what he said and I hope he comes back to do it again.

I hope to see him soom too. At least Fuerst has some class and a sense of humor. Fuerst may be anal about being clean, the bills, and other things most overlook but that's the only way those things got done. Fuerst had a great business system he used and when he stepped away that system took a s%$T and then it became all about the money with Hietpas trying to run what he called a business. The way Hietpas runs it, it is more like a big home garage where him and his friends hang out. There is no business sense or for that matter there's no sense to his business other than the money. He may as well save money and move to his house and work on cars (Hietpas). A lot of us are hoping Furst will come back, make it fun, and SAVE US SOME MONEY!!!

All NEGATIVE COMMENTS POSTED ABOUT A-TOWN AUTO ARE FALSE AND WERE DONE OUT OF SPITE. I KNOW ZACH HEITPAS PERSONALLY AND HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH HIM MANY TIMES, INCLUDING STARTING A-TOWN AUTO WITH ZACH. ZACH TREATS ANY AND ALL CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT AND IS FAIR IN ALL HIS REPAIR CHARGES,BODY WORK, AND PAINT WORK. ZACH IS PROBABLY THE BEST IN THE VALLEY IF NOT THE BEST.

THESE COMMENTS IN NO WAY REFLECT ON THE REAL WAY ZACH RUNS A-TOWN AUTO.

SINCERELY,

JEFFREY FUERST
