I attended school with Andy Pappas, and just heard about his passing. I am looking for anyone who may know what happened. He was a great person and will be missed by many.

RIP

Unfortunately they have no answers as to what caused his death but the authorities have ruled out suicide and foul play and the coroner ruled out heart attack, brain aneurism and other obvious things. It is believed his heart might have been enlarged (although my daughter said that is just because he had a big heart) and there was fluid around his heart. They are running tissue and fluid tests to see if it was a virus but it may be up to 6 to 8 weeks for all the results to come back. When Julie found him it looked like he was just sleeping - all relaxed and sleeping in his normal position.

Andy Pappas died of a heart attack. They found fluid around his heart. He didn't feel any pain, he was found in his sleeping position. It happened instantly.

I knew he was a great person, but I didnt realize the extent of it until I attended his wake last night. Simply an amazing person who was taken too early. In this case the good die young.

Wow, thank you for that information. It was so weird because I just saw him last week, and he seemed happy and fine. I remembered he had the swine flue a few months back, and I wasn't sure if it came back, or what happened. I am very sorry for your loss. He really was a great person.
