This accident was bound to happen. And further investigation will show the .22 caliber as a weapon used in other crimes. The CHILDREN should be removed from that residence immediately!!!! Why was there no mention of the gun`s owner????

So instead of complaining about the parents...How about praying for the children and parents...can you imagine losing your child this way...They will suffer enough...Pray for them and that baby.

I don't understand why the gun was in a place where a child get a hold of it. They sell gun safes where you have to place your hand on it and it only opens for the person who has set it up. We have a few guns and all of them are unloaded and each one has a safe of their own. Not to mention we put them in places where our children can not get a hold of them. I feel that if a person has guns and children they should all be required to go to gun safety courses. My husband, my children and myself all went to one together.

Hopefully the child recovers. The parents should be held responsible!

How about in place of prayer, people take action. Instead of leaving a gun around and praying that your kids don't get hurt, PUT THE GUN IN A SAFE.

Well my goodness Stephanie! Let's review - Two 2 yr old children, both left alone to play in a room with a LOADED firearm!! Yes, of course we pray for the innocent children! However, there must be SEVERE consequences for the irresponsible, totally stupid parents involved here! You state that you are from Hawkins. Being from Tyler myself, I am quite familiar with Hawkins. If this had happened in Hawkins, well, shall we say, justice would be quick!

It's amazing how people get so over dramatic when something like this happens, but don't blink an eye to the over 1,600 abortions performed each day in the United States. In God's eyes, abortions are 1st degree murder, since they are planned. I will pray for the toddler.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Libra

How is your Christmas shopping coming along? This is a good day for doing a little bit more of it, and your eagle eyes will spot some interesting items if you're looking for unusual gifts. It might help to take someone along to keep you company or to arrange to meet them afterwards. You'll be inspired to write some letters to put inside your Christmas cards if you haven't already sent them off.
