Guess what????? I have worked on the management side for UA and F9 and now I am a manager. But the time I worked as a CSA in a 4hr rule station was the most rewarding and educational experiences I ever had. The other thing I can tell you is anybody who worked as a laborer has alot more knowledge of the job then any NWA station manager I ever known. Probably because they are not suppose to work the operation and actually learn anything....partically unions fault for the time slip rule....but without that rule the management would take away a head and not work the ops anyway. So I guess it all boils down to if you worked the airlines for 4 years or even 2 then you have completed more then any college for management out there. Just because you have the title doesn't mean you earned the right or the respect.

Yet another good reason to leave the iam. Again you assume that leaving nwa was a bad thing. There has been much discussion on here about the how bad the unions are. How they protect lazy people. How much better off the company is now that pot bellied whining mechanics are gone. Well, it seems to me that most of the lazy, whining, half a$$ed pencil whippers that I worked around were embraced as the "A" team and are still there. Kinda ironic wouldn't ya say.
