I'm sorry but I can't take a position on this subject right now. I like collecting contributions from both sides of the issue while I'm running for re-election. I'll ask President Bush what side I should be on when I finally decide. By the way, have you noticed that the closer to the election we get the more bipartisan I become? Finally a voice of reason in the mist!! You think a flying waitress should be hauling in $50,000 a year or more to only fly 9 to 11 days a month..? I know people that work more hours in a week than they fly in a month! "Oh, but I'm away from home on a layover.."...what, getting drunk at the Sports Bar in Narita and hooking up with pilots and male F/A's 6000 miles away from home...that's brutal-you should file a grievance over that with your union...lol..!

Now, if there was a heart attack, fire or God forbid an accident… Just because there wasn’t a fire in your town today should the fire personnel NOT get paid?

this person has been jilted one too many times by flight attendants, so he has a vendetta against them. i think he is pretty funny. he knows much of the mundane routine, but nothing about the actual work. yes, yes, we just love to eat, read magazines, be rude to customers, bitch and complain, get drunk at the nrt sports bar and line up to jump in bed with the pilots, then lounge around the pool, and we love to pass peanuts like the monkeys do.

On another string this poster asked someone when was the last time they flew to the 'Orient' and that they put 2 children through college and a husband through dental school while flying! Even in our best days, that wasn't possible. They obviously have trouble with the truth. He/she knows the basics but certainly not the nuts and bolts. Either dated a flight attendant, is the child of one or could be someone from another workgroup [or former workgroup] within the airline. The attacks are just too personal, juvenile and mean spirited. This person has issues!

Okay you caught me...there is absolutly no way on earth I could have met my ex while he was in college, hooked up with him, and helped pay his way through dental school, got married, helped him start his dental practice,had kids, and then 18 years later, with the help of the income stream from the dentist's office and my meager wages put two kids through college...WTF was I thinking? That's sheer insanity!! I better hop back on my computer for a few hours and sit and analyze every word people are saying on here and try to generate a clinical diagnosis and a backround profile on each and every one...because I HAVE NO LIFE!! Later losers...
