I am sandi lee duncan's sister and I live in wv. That was the only sister I had and if anyone knows anything please come forward. I feel like I've been robbed. Anyone that has a sister, brother, cousin whatever put yourself in my shoes. My sister was an aunt because I have two daughters and a son and they loved her. She wasn't some person that had no family. She had two loving parents, a sister, nieces and a nephew. Please someone anyone tell us who did this. She loved to sing and draw. She was trying to go back to school and build a life for herself. To start over. Her life that she loved so much was stolen from her like someone would steal a wallet. Only she was more important than that and to make it so bad whoever did this threw her in the desert alone like some piece of paper that you discard. As someone that never thought I would be a statistic I am now one of many that has been put in the category of violent crimes. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TELL ANYONE ELSE PLEASE TELL ME. TELL SOMEONE. DON'T LET THIS WOMAN'S LIFE GO DOWN AS A COLD CASE FILE. DON'T LET US LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT HER MURDERER IS ALIVE AND SHE ISN'T. PLEASE LET JUSTICE PREVAIL.

I am friends with this young lady's family. I would ask that all who read this pray for this family to help them somehow deal with this horrible nightmare. And if anyone knows anything, please contact the right people so that the one who took her life will be brought to justice. No crime goes unpunished, whether here on earth or at Heaven's gates.

Sorry for your loss,it's disgusting how she was left in the desert. She looked like a pretty girl from her My Space page. Hopefully they will start the investigation there.
Peace be with the family.

I am deeply grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers. Our family is grateful. This is a testament to the power of prayer and the lives that we touch while we are here on this earth. The one thing that people need to realize is that anything can happen and that life is precious. In the split second, the life that you know can change. Anyone reading this please hold your children close, mend differences with friends, family and aquaintences. If you think that this can't happen to you, remember, I thought that way too.

I'm sorry to hear about your sister. I was in the Army with her a few years ago at Ft.Irwin. Though we weren't the closest of friends she was still a good, loving person. I even got to hear her sing a few times while I was there and she was awesome! I truly hope they find who did this to her. She was too good of a person to deserve such a punishment. My heart goes oyt to you and your family.

Why do you hope that they start the investigation with her myspace?????? You must be one of those people from the daily press who decided they had solved the crime by seeing what her friends looked like without knowing a single detail about her, them or the circumstances. Didn't even know if she was killed yet just that she was found. Stop jumping to conclusions!!!!!!!!!!

Dear stop judging.

If you read the article, which clearly you didn't, it said that it definatley was a homicide and they were opening an investigation and if anyone had info to call the police. Maybe you should stop judging and read.

I've known Sandi and her family for 3 generations. She was a sweetheart and comes from a quiet family. Hate to tell ya Victorville but she was killed and sometimes you learn more from my space than interviewing close friends. God knows and justice will be served.

I was just saying that it would be a mistake for them to ignore Myspace or any other social networking as a resource.Unfortunately they have been popular for captures of predators.

I was also a friend of Sandi's here in Barstow. Her family is in my prayers. And they are going to find who did this to such a good person. No one deserves something like this to happen to them and Sandi did not deserve this to happen to her. She was going back to school and doing something positive with her life. And I'm very blessed to have had her in my life. And her sister, Staci, is right love the people you have while you have them. Life is precious and you never know when your loved one may be taken from you.
