In response to the comment from b ccognion 3/23/07, One should have facts, just to set the record straight, Holmesville's sewer plant is ran by the it's BPA which was set up by the Village Town Council, who is alive and well. Not so very long ago, the Village had to vote to stay a Village because someone had an idea we would be better off to give up our Village, well, we banded together and we saved our Village! And I believe the upcoming meeting is to lay out all the facts and
let people decide for themselves what is best.
For the levy or against it! We will have pro and cons, the way it should be! I might add, it took 18months for me to get all the facts from our school board, just how many people represented my thoughts without my knowledge??????????
If this was such a great idea why aren't more people aware about it and informing the whole school district, not just a select few?????
By the way, I attended Apple Creek Elementary,Mount
Eaton Elementary and Waynedale, my children also attended Holmesville, JR Lea, and Waynedale. And
when my children went to Holmesville, they were part of of 200+ and had classes of 40+, why all of a sudden do we not have enough room??? The enrolement is down, according to the math that our
school district taught, things are just not adding up! PS Holmesville is one of our newest schools!
I really don't think we are ready for a vote, I think this is important enough to get more of the District involved!
