Why would anyone shop there?
Prices are at least 30% higher than Wal*Mart. Winn-Dixie has been sucking wind for awhile now. Too much competition for groceries now. It is not Bush's fault the or Obama

It's really a shame their stores are so bad. I've been in Winn-Dixie's one week after opening, and the floors are sticky. It's a shame because the company is a real supporter of Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. There's the Winn-Dixie Reservation, which is a huge complex of different campgrounds in Paisley. They also sponsor the "Scouting for Food" drive every fall. I support the company's efforts, but haven't found a store I like to shop in.

This one was very close to a Wal-mart SuperCenter. Also, they didn't do much to remodel the store. Too many of their stores look old.

I'll bet they waited until their lease was up so they could at least get the use that they paid for.
