I agree with Mr. Richardson's assesment that the tax burden on small bussines's is unfair, inequitable, and drives many into closing up shop through selling out or worse, through bankrupcy. A boating community like ours should have a county owned public boat ramp. Why not install one at the park on Surfside Boulevard? There seems to be adequate land area for parking trailers.

I totally agree. With the real estate prices of the past few years many marinas and boat ramps have been plowed under to build condos. The county should provide a boat ramp in exchange for the taxes we pay.
In addition to this I think the county should provide dredging for the waterfront residents who pay high taxes for their properties and should get something back for it. If the canals of Apollo Beach silt in will they lower our taxes?
