This forum permeates uneducated & small minded people. First of all, to the last post- babygurl iowa- you are RIGHT most people probably would NOT say these things to Jamie Denegar's face because he would probably stab them to death- you know like the two human beings he has already killed.
Next, all the people who do stick up for Jamie are as ignorant and uneducated as him. Your lack of vocabulary is the reason you use such foul words. It is statistically proven that people who curse use those words because their vocabularies are so small they cannot think of any other words.
Jamie Denegar is a murder- there is no other way around it. We don't have to "know" him to state that fact. I do not look "dumb" by saying this- you are only walking blind for not accepting this.
I sat on the jury, and unlike the other juror who has posted on this site, I have better word choices. As a matter of fact, I am shocked anyone who sat on that jury with me talked so poorly and used the words that juror used in this posting.
The friends & relatives who have posted here in Jamie's defense have the same mind set as Jamie- it will not surprise me to see any of them sitting in the same seat as him in the near future if they do not move on.
May you learn from Jamie's mistakes. Leave him behind and go make something of yourself. Maybe your first step can be choosing better words and defending yourselves with facts instead of threats and curse words.
All the best to you. May God touch Jamie’s heart and heal those who have lost love ones from Jamie’s hands.

I said it before and I'll say it again..I am a true friend of Jamie's though I wish I would have kept in better contact with him over the years because as a teenager, he was never as bad as you people are making him out to be. Yeah, he had some issues and made bad choices but the Jamie I knew and hung out with was a genuine person who cared about his family and his friends.
I'm not condoning (sp?) what he did at all cause nobody deserves to lose their life but who REALLY knows what went on that night besides the two victims and Jamie????
He wrote me a letter telling me about his children and I CAN & WILL say that he is a proud father. Sometimes life gets really screwed up and people are 'forced' to make decisions that arent right at the moment, especially to people on the outside, but seem right giving the circumstances that person is facing.
If you want to judge me for sticking up for Jamie, go ahead. I really dont care about words on a computer. I am an American Soldier and a loving MOTHER but I too have made mistakes throughout my life but I learned from them and kept going. And my family and true friends stood by my side.
Hey Chris...if you read this, get ahold of me because I would like to know what happened at the trial and make sure you are alright.
Jamie..if you read this, keep your head up and dont worry about what others say. You know your family loves you and your TRUE friends will stick by your side and I know you are truely sorry for what you did.

Jamie was an amazing person. I don't care who says otherwise. Yeah he's messed up, but so have I. Does that make me a horrible person? I've done some pretty crappy stuff in my life, some worse than others. It doesn't make you any less of a person. Still there are feelings and emotions. I know how Jamie was. We hung out alot. Yeah we did some bad things together, but if I ever needed help with anything I could just go to him and he was there for me. So all of you on here that read about him and read others comments, you need to learn the facts before you can say anything. I love Jamie more than any of you can imagine. He's not a bad person. Only those of you who don't know him think that. Get the facts before you can judge someone.

You should really learn how to spell and improve your vocabulary before you make more of a fool of yourself... How can you say he doesn't belong in jail or come up with excuses for him? Regardless of his "rough" life on the mean streets of Colonie, he killed 2 innocent people, yet everyone comes up with excuses for him. He brought it ALL on himself, and point blank regardless of any bad life, or the fact of anyone having to know him, anyone with a little bit of common sense knows he belongs in HELL! He got off easy. You don't think he deserves punishment? That just goes to show your ignorant mentality, well you are related to jamie. He will pay with the rest of his life....

I would really like to express my deepest gratitude to family & friends who actually know Jamie & keep us all within there prayers.From where I come there was only ever one Judge & Jury over us all & that was God & is God himself,We here are all sinners in one way or another or we wouldnt be here, I was very appaulled but yet not surprised by the behaviours of society here.I was also very saddened, people are so quick to judge others when they really do not know the individual nor the circumstances prevailing. Jamie just like most of us has made mistakes,his maybe more than some yet others maybe less, But one thing I do know for sure,He is not a murderer nor does he come from such.Maybe some of you should look at yourselves & the lord more often........A loving Mother Always.

Melanie and I used to hang out with Jamie & Chris ALOT back in like 97-98.
I havent forgotten about Jamie at all. Just been busy doing the Mom thing and being a soldier.

So if someone goes and kills 2 people they say sorry, and magically they dont deserve to go to jail? WAKE UP! If someone stabbed anyone you were close to and killed them and said sorry your just gonna forgive them? UMMM no he should ROT in prison, if it takes a person to murder 2 people to realize something is wrong they are not SANE and dont need to be let out with SANE people plain simple! People talking shit? This MAN JUST MURDERED 2 people! EVERYONE HAS the right to say w/e they feel for he HAS LOST ALL HIS rights to live FREELY!
