Hit and run motorcycle accident in Ruskin on 41 October 30

I was at the accident scene in a automobile when the two people on the motor cycle were hit by an suv that ran a red light and hit them and fled the scene on foot. I have not been able to find any more news about this. Does anyone have any info or condition of the two on the cycle. They were air lifted to a local hospital.

i know the couple, i understand he is not out of the woods yet, she has many broken bones but is doing better, they have three children, two still live at home. i do not have much more info at this time. i will keep them in my thoughts, if you saw the crash, i am sure they will need to talk with you, they are in tampa gel

The woman was eventually released from the hospital with a shattered leg. The man had to go through many surgeries, was in a medically induced coma, and eventually had to have his leg amputated to save his life.

Thank you for the update. This couple has been in my prayers since the accident. I am so glad they both are recovering. Has the gentleman been released from the hospital yet and were they from the area? Was the suv a stolen vehecile or have they found those who were in it? Again thank you for the update.
