Do you work for the police department or just snoop through other people's records for recreation? I am not denying that she does have several violations, but I am amazed that you so casually comment on this as if it's only a matter of "googling" her name and its all there for the public to see. I have been trying to find out her blood alcohol level at the time, but it doesn't seem to be easily accessible as it is never mentioned in any of the news articles.

If she were an illegal immigrant she would be released on bond, and they would never look for her again. Amazing how we go after our LEGAL citizens, and yet allow these people who are violating federal immigration laws, as well as many others to run free. Trust me. I was hit on my motorccycle by a van full of illegals, who fled the scene. They were caught running. Only the driver was arrested. He bonded out for $1000. Continues to live as an illegal. Police don't look for him. They are waiting for him to come to them. I lost a leg, wife suffered permanent brain damage and many other injuries. Since this accident, I have been hit by two more people who had no licenses or insurance. Both times, they are released at the scene. Drunk drivers, who cause accidents need to be shot. I would use the defense of "I didn't see them....I was shooting at a bird and didnt see them!!!" Isnt that what people say when they run over a motorcyclist? Maybe if they were shot, GOD would sort it out for them.

Hogrider, so you would "purposely" kill someone who "accidently" killed someone? you comments make you sound like the stereotypical biker...you probably belong to a hate group don't you? and, a lot of biker accidents are because bikers themselves are too reckless. they should always be on the look-out. ps....yes, i am a rider myself but i have seen too many bikers driving reckless themselves.

A DUI is not an accidental killing. EVERYONE knows that if you drink and drive you may kill someone. Period. Bad decision? Yes!

DUI is not an accident. Killing while doing so is an accident. We have laws covering this. If you accidently run a red light and kill someone it is not and shoould not be considered murder, drunk or not. I for one would like to seperate stupid and sensless actions that cause a death vs. someone actually putting a gun to my head (for what ever reason) and deliberately pulling the trigger. You can debate the punishments for each until the cows come home. Don't drink and drive.

If it was public record it would be available, without price, which it is clearly not. The blood alcohol level is important because she may not have had a drink at all. DUI can be given even if the driver is way under the legal limit including cases where the driver simply had a dose of cough syrup. Have you honestly never driven after taking cold medicine? DUI does not mean drunk. Drunk usually is indicated by the blood alcohol level, which is absent from all news reports. Did public record tell you she drank or are you, being nonjudgmental of course, implying without proven fact that she had been drinking?
