ATTENTION cat lovers. This will seem petty to some, but very important to my husband. There is a feral cat behind the WalMart in Apex. Seems to stay near the area where the pallets are. My husband was working nights and he has watched the cat grown up from a kitten. There were 3 siblings, but, now this one (a calico)is still there. We've been giving the cat scraps and cat food since a baby. The cat will let my hubby get within 4 feet of it, but, when he tried to touch it, it runs off. We're very concerned about the welfare of the cat because my husband will not be working at the WalMart anymore and we live in Clayton in a subdivision. The cat unfortunately doesn't know how to take care of itself because we fed it from a kitten. (Stupid us). So, if someone could put a trap with food in it, the kitten would probably go in it to eat when it gets hungry. Then if someone lived in the country, it would be a great barn cat. We thought about trapping it and taking to the vet, but, more than likely the cat would be put to sleep because it is feral. If anyone can help save this cat, it would be so appreciated. Please post if you can help.
