I am a single woman considering moving to Durham from Raleigh. I am looking for a place that is quiet and slightly secluded so that I may have my dogs, bees and chickens. I am not overly familiar with Durham so I would need help in finding an appropriate location. I am in the resturant buissness and I find that Durham resturants are far superior to those in Raleigh. Any ideas and thoughts? Are there also any others from raleigh who have located to Durham?

Dont listen to Jack. Durham is a beautiful place as long as youre in the right area. Sparger Rd, Hillsborough Rd, Hillandale Rd, N. Roxboro Rd, those are all good areas. Try to stay away from living near downtown, but working in downtown IS a plus, especially for the restaurant business. Good luck.
