Yorman, I would like to thank you for bringing good food, good music and a little soul to Surprise. Thanks a bunch and my family and I will keep on coming to hang out with you guys!

Unless service is the only reason you eat at a restaurant... pass this place up. If it weren't for our server we would have never stayed through the whole meal. She was a blast and how she continued to make us laugh, while she had to apologize that they were all out of our first 3 choices...wow kudos to her.****our first three?
Mussels I think...sorry
Lamb shanks... to be fair, if we wanted to wait an hour and a half, we could have had lamb shanks.

The shear humor of it all was incredible! As we watched our server work the whole front end of the restaurant, go behind the bar (which appeared to have two people working behind it) and make the drinks for all her tables.... I even saw her go in the kitchen and make a couple salads for another table! Unfortunately, the food, atmosphere and prices were so under par that we won't go back. We will continue to try other restaurants in the area and hopefully we will come across this server again.

We gave the Bistro two chances. On the first occasion they had problems "keeping up with the crowd; us, and another couple" the next time we were invisible as was our food. The pizza joint just doors down deserved more stars. Too bad it closed.

This place is a joke! They don'nt have a clue about customer service or good food. Never saw a manager the entire time.

Our experience was similar to those above. Waited for 1/2 hour or more for service which ultimately never appeared while waitresses stood around talking and joking with each other. Too bad, it would have been niceto have live jazz in the west valley! Seems like Yorman didn't learn from his failure in Hawai'i!

What happened to yormans? Did they relocate? I think the music made up for the so,so food.Having a place to listen to some good jazz here in surprise is good enough for me. Any other recomendations?

too bad Yorman's couldn't match other requirements for resturant success with the outstanding location they had in Maui.

we hosted several large breakfast parties there. we always found the place empty so there was no excuse for the service. the setting was perfect for our groups as we had some very young children with us. the food was good and plenty of it, the service was so so.

i would have gone back just for the window seating as when i am in Maui i am not in a hurry.
