If they regulate the filth that came in their and only admit the decent people it would work. Its because of fights and underage drinking that tatnished the alcohol license renewal application. Mike couldn't get a renewal. Keep scum like Murdies and dirtballs out and hire a local doorman who knows who is who and will check IDs before they reach the second doors and it will be fine. A cover charge with the tickets is a good idea. 90% of the people are.drinking so its.no big deal to pay $5. Too many people slipped in and were making drug deals then leaving. That shit has to stop. If you need a score that bad then go meet your connect outside. Every other decent bar is 21 or up so no one should complain 18 year olds can't get in to dance. If it was managed properly it would be fine. A bouncer definitely. Fights means cops which puts marks in a report to the liquor authority. If your not adult enough to not fight stay home.

You don't have to be 21 to go to bars in Gouvy.

It is a big deal to pay 5 dollars. There's no reason to charge it. There's never a band or anything interesting in Palms, it's the dance floor with Cabbage on a computer blaring music older than most of the people in there. Always a fight. Always trouble. Always people that are nasty that nobody wants to look at. Any charge to get into that place would be a mistake.

Yes, because if you don't go there every weekend you know nothing about the place. Duh. How about the fact it used to be a decent bar. People used to go there. It's taken it years to get to the absolute dump it was before it closed.

if you have ever been to any place other than gouvy 90% of the bars are.21 or up. The Paddock Club in Watertown, a very nice place, is an example

do you ever have a drink or two at palms. Because the $5 dollars includes two drink tokens. If you can.afford $5 then you have no place being at a bar

If your not drinking there and just dancing you definitely should have to pay a cover charge. The electricity, DJ, and water bill isn't free.

The bar wouldn't be so bad if it was cleaned up. Business owners are supposed to take pride in there business, not pocket all the money and don't fix and update things.
Palms is one of the few places with a dance floor, i say keep it open, enforce rules, clean it up, spend a little money, and attract better business.

Scooter wants to open it, huh? LMFAO That place was a s@#$hole before and won't be any different with Scooter running it. He's no better than Mike. Two peas in a pod, those two, except I think Scooter's might just be certifiably crazy as well.
Oh, and by the way, if the old liquor license was in fact revoked by NYS, which I think it was, Scooter may have a few extra hurdles to jump over before he can get one himself.

if you werent aware, and i know you werent, as most people DONT KNOW.....the 5 dollar charge instituted in the past, and instituted at other places, for example, are to keep people out who do any of the following:
1. bring no money and hang out, and start trouble.
2. only use the place for drugs or drug related deals.
3. only come in to dance and order water all night long and tip nobody.
4. underaged people with no income.

people in this town are fucking retards. srsly. no education, no sense, no analytical skills, nothing. just mouths.
