The owner really doesn't have good work ethic because if she did she would still be a nurse.

That is a ridiculous statement. You are saying that you have to be a nurse and stay a nurse to have a good work ethic. There are many other jobs that one can work at and have a good work ethic, and you can change jobs and still have a good work ethic. Look up work ethics....I don't think it specifies nursing and staying a nurse if you are already one.

seems to me that it would require a pretty good work ethic and lots of ambition to leave a profession to start and run your own business.

It requires a lot of hard work and ambition starting and running your own business. To me and many others, that may be considered a "great work ethic"... You know, being an entrepreneur. I guess she left her job at the right time, since EJ Noble is having so much trouble, which I do feel badly about since we NEED our hospital.
Staying at a job does not mean that you have a good work ethic. I have seen/known many "lazy" "unproductive" people who stay at their job. They certainly don't have a good work ethic. Work ethic is about how well you work, not how long you stay at your job.

Maybe if she could stay off the prescription drugs she would have other options I guess becoming your own boss allows you to come and go as you please to each it's own

I really think "work ethic" "opinion" and "Truth" are the same person, and she has something against the owner, or has a jealousy problem. The owner is a very nice person and well liked by many. She is a hard worker, and I doubt she is on prescription drugs since she is expecting a child. Now that I look back on all the posts, I think the same person may be writing all the negatives under different names. That is terrible!!
You really have some kind of vendetta or possibly a jealousy problem.
You obviously aren't half as nice as person as the owner is.

im sorry i was not more clear in my other post. you obviously misunderstood me. i am in no way bashing anyone. i was disagreeing with someone who was. i said it seems to me it WOULD take a pretty good work ethic and a lot of ambition to do what the owner did and is doing. that is to leave a comfortable regular job (where it is easy to be lazy) and start and run her own business where she is responsible for every aspect of that business.

you obviously have never been "your own boss" the business is your boss and it is almost always more demanding than any supervisor at EJ Noble.

I am sorry....You are right! I must have read something wrong, or misunderstood. I do think that many of the negatives are being written by the same person using a different name, although obviously not you. You had a great comment in support of the owner starting her own business and having a good work ethic.

The sandwich is ok. They arent bad but they arent outstanding. They should be outstanding for eight dollars. One of their sandwiches arent eight times better than McDonalds dollar sandwich. It is a lot nicer in there than McDonalds that is for sure. If I go again I will give the tip to the waitress and tell her to put it in her pocket.

I wanted to know about any new items on menu, why don't you enlighten us on the drug deal you seen? As a citizen of the village why didn't you call the police if illegal activity was going on? Besides she is pregnant are you sure you saw a drug deal?

I don't believe a word you are saying. You are the kind of person who starts rumors and has a poisonous mouth. The owners are very nice people and the food is great!
Just because you have some kind of jealousy or obviously some kind of problem, doesn't mean you should start an untrue rumor.

And you are a saint? I don't know any saints. People that gossip and start rumors have a problem. I guess you are doing a good job covering up your gossip problem as you don't give your name. I'm guessing that you probably have a circle of friends that you gossip with, and they know you as a gossiper ( A person who habitually spreads intimate or private rumors or facts about other people)
Addictions are hard to conquer, but gossiping is a choice, and you choose to try to ruin someone's reputation.

I don't care if YOU believe me or not! I know what I saw last summer on Main Street. I have no problem, I love the food. You are poisoned in thinking hard working people don't do drugs. From what I heard she doesn't work at the hospital because she couldn't keep her hands off the pills.

You are ridiculous. Of course I know that all kinds of people do drugs. However, I do not know that you actually saw what you say you saw. First of all, you could be making it up. Secondly, even if you think you saw something, you may be making an assumption...and then you start an "untruth" a rumor. Kind of ironic, that you would be there just at the "right" time. NO....DON'T BELIEVE YOU.
You obviously have something against her, and you want to start a rumor for everyone to believe. People like you..."POISONOUS".

you are one of the many people who are HUGE reasons we are punished into not having small business in this town. all people do is bitch bitch bitch. would you please give the forum an example of something that was outstanding to you? maybe worth the money? nah, because anywhere you go you bitch. i know as someone who has had a personal stake in business in this town, that all people do is bitch, and want to be treated like royalty for the 8 dollars they pay. fuck you sir. fuck you hard. people in this town act like royalty, and demand royal respect for paying for a 5 dollar meal. they exploit, steal, and try to rip ANYONE in business off, and if they DONT get their way, they go on a tirade about how terrible the place is. nothing but out of touch dumbasses in this town. they poison their own town.
