This site is so confusing. Someone makes a comment and then someone else runs with it and puts in their comments then someone else says something different and then someone else comments then someone else runs with that with their comments and it goes on and on and on and on. Your heads must spin in circles.

It is common practise to suspend with pay when a complaint is made while it is being investigated. Only one i know of that didnt get suspended with pay was Jason Whitton who shot himself with the chiefs weapon, nor did he get any type of disipline for it.

So what has been found out over the weekend? Anyone have an update or more information to share? I am thinking that this will more than likely bring down another or more people employed by our tax dollars. It is surely an interesting story, but I have to say if his last name was Whitton he probably would have never made the headlines or investigated at all. I can't believe the cirlce was cracked open.

Steve was one of the better ones in my eyes and I feel bad for the situation honestly. I doubt others would have been taken down in this matter. He does volunteer and is chief of the fire department and that should hod a lot of water in a small community. If he broke the law I know he should be prosecuted to a degree, but lets make sure he gets the same treatment others in the department would get or are not getting. I doubt he is the only one guilty in that department for breaking a law or rule. We have all heard several stories. Time with tell.

I agree wholeheartedly. But they should be taken to task as well. Anyone with information should bring it forward. If people knew about it and turned a blind eye they should also be accountable. Even if they cannot be prosecuted criminally, we do have an empty Chief position... did he know? Did the heir apparent know? If it's found that they did then I think those are deciding factors as to whether they're fit to hold the Chief's position. Don't go down alone, Youngs!

Get a good lawyer as I sounds like you have a good case against the village. If they can throw you into the fire then blow some right back at them. We know you have no problem facing smoke or fire.

You're all going to look silly when he's cleared and reinstated. But that's ok because you're using anonymous names.

You anonymous names just like you dipshit? Or did your mommy look at you and give you a first name "Moron?" I doubt it Mr. Wrangler. lmfao! I have seen your posts for and against all sorts of idiotic threads. You find one you obviously have some vested interest in and you come up with this? Good to know you moron if that is your name.
