Here is something for all of you that defend Mr. Blyth to ponder, at appx 1:30 pm today 6/9/10, Blyth was in a local establishment, where he had driven himself, please remember license still suspended. At this establishment he proceeded to campaign by passing out cards and making the statement in front of numerous witnesses " I didnt even have to pay a fine or anything for driving on a suspended license, it sure is good to know people", now isnt that something, still out blatantly commiting a crime, showing no remorse of any kind, and bragging about it as if the little boy who's life he took was nothing more than the dirt beneath his feet!! Well Mr. Blyth I am so glad you are comfortable within the protection of the corruption that so rampantly controls this town. Mr. Blyth please dont let a thought of the little boy that you basicaly murdered cross your mind, go home, grab yourself a cold beer, prop your feet up, and please dont forget to put that big old Mossberg stoagie in your mouth and light it up..... and please any of you that feel the same as him please join him for a nice smoke.... things are changing...watch your skeletons closely
If you saw him and know he it is unlawful to drive why didn't you represent Lost Mountain Law Enforcement and do a citizen's arrest and take him to jail? As far as him running for DA..personally I think he has a snowball's chance in hades of winning..after all he got removed from being Judge because of misconduct or something like that...

I don't want everyone to assume I am a Blyth fan, I'm not, Personally I think he is a big buffoon. But that car the boy hit could have been any one of us on here, any one! That is one of the busiest streets in the "downtown" area of Antlers and what was his "parents" doing letting him ride out in front to begin with? And prior to that, I know for a fact several people complaining about getting tickets right in that area and I have seen police parked at the top of the hill day in & day out before this accident. Yes, ACCIDENT, a very sad one but nevertheless, an accident. Maybe if the "parents" had been outside with the small children instead of watching her stories, this might not have happened at all. Like I said, I have no love loss for Blyth, but it could have been anyone of us, think about that!!!

I hate to say this, but the judge was at no fault other than driving without a license. The parents gripe about wanting the speed limit enforced and claim they know that the judge was driving 10 mph over the speed limit. While we all know how to tell when someone is speeding, it's hard on that road because it's a constant uphill climb. I feel bad for the kid, but they can not expect everyone to roll over and make them happy.
Little insight for you, What Ex-Jugde did was/is a felony. I agree, parents are not smart and are to blame too. But, to drive without a license and be involved in an accident that causes death or severe body injury is a felony. Both parties involved are equally wrong. Oh, and you don't let people drive away with NO license...That would be a NoNo

Counselor, or lawyer in training what it sounds like, but you should run for DA and help us clean this town up. Coming on a trash talking site and popping off months later says nothing...and if you're so concerned with the law, can't you as a court representative, go the the DA with your findings and press for charges to be levied?? Isn't it your duty to uphold the law? Counselor, your rebuttal...

Well, first off, I'm not using this To trash talk, rather to inform ones that do not know the law. As I explained earlier, I just found out about this site. If these readers don't want the truth, then I will stop posting. The way the law works, the responsible officer(s) have to make further inquiries to get further charges pressed. I, myself, am fed up with the DA's office and could care less. But for you citizens that still care, you should contact the DA and get a Associate District Attorney in pushmataha county full time. I'm just trying to be informative Joe. You don't want advice, don't read it.

Before all of you all continue ranting and raving, you must first remember that it is not your authority to judge people, that belongs to God.
Romans 2
1. You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

If you want to do something-Pray for the family, pray for Doyle Blythe.

I know that I will catch some comments on this one, but thats ok.

Hey, Esquire Law, since you're "new" to these sites, let me warn you, anything that looks like you may be taking sides, will bring backlash from the idiots on here quick. And if I read you other comments correctly, it seems you have a hidden agenda against the DA's office, which makes you just as low life as those who post to trash. You wouldn't be one of the candidates in the upcoming elections would you??

First off, I do feel sorry for the family of the child and for all involved with this case. It is sad that the child lost his life so young. I do have issues however with the way everyone is casting stones and pointing fingers at people who really couldn’t control the situation.

I don't care if the man was or wasn't driving with a valid license, it still wasn't his fault. He shouldn’t have been driving, we all know that, but him being on the road didn’t cause the boy to die. The boy not being watched and riding into a busy street is what got him killed. And for those of you saying that Blythe basically murder the kid, If you want to look at it that way it could be also said that the kid “basically” committed suicide.

For the ones who seem to think that if he hadn’t been driving the boy would be ok, I really doubt that. If Blythe wouldn’t have been there, someone else would have been, maybe not on that day at that time, but it would have happened eventually. And the whole things is that the boy hit him, he didn't hit the boy, and he was riding in an area that he shouldn’t have been into traffic.

As far as Antlers making it a law for children to have to wear protective gear, that is fine with me and a rather good idea, but making it a law will not do a damn thing if the parents do not going to give a damn about their child or what he/she is doing and where. There are many laws that are in place and if no one cares about them nothing gets done.

Bottom line- It is the parent(s) fault. If you are going to reproduce, be responsible for them. It is not the communities job to watch out for your child.

Don’t get me wrong, I do feel that a community should care about all of the children who live there, but it isn’t our job to make sure your kid doesn’t do something stupid, or to do your parenting job.

If your not going to watch out for them, and take care of them, DON’T HAVE THEM!

According to the OSCN, Doyle Blythe has now been formally charged with 1st degree manslaughter. His bond was set at $5,000, after the arrest, it was changed to PR bond and paid $37.50 total fees to bond out.

Are they watching? Is this the same laws we live by?
