Water level is fine. As of May 3 it was level with the wood timbers that surround the camp ground sites at lakes edge. The ramps are fine, great for large boats right now.

Thanks. Our boat is about 23ft. It does have a tandem trailer, so sometimes it has to be put in deep to get it off the trailer.

It is just perfect then. Just watch out for the shallow plateau spot nearly across from the main ramps near the houses. The markers had been run over and split. Barely visible. BRWSA needs to do some maintenance work. Ive seen a few broke lower units and twisted props over the years.

How many acres does beech lake cover? I saw on the internet that it is 1000. If it is, that means it is the same size as the new carroll county lake. The reason I ask is because, the article in the jackson sun stated that the new carroll county lake is the largest man made lake in west tn

Evidently you can't read or you would have seen "Recreation Impaired". Should I define the meaning of impaired and recreation?

It says not to eat the fish, it doesn't say anything about not swimming or boating. If people knew that and stopped using beech lake for recreation it would cost the BRWDA and the City of Lexington a blooming fortune. As always, politicians let the people know what they want them to know, no mater what harm it does to the people.

Just think about all the cancer in this county!

What is the difference between the "good," "threatened," and "impaired" categories of use support?

Waters rated by the states as "good" fully support all of their designated uses.

Waters rated by the states as "threatened" currently support all of their designated uses, but one or more of those uses may become impaired in the future (i.e., water quality may be exhibiting a deteriorating trend) if pollution control actions are not taken.

Waters rated as "impaired" by the states cannot support one or more of their designated uses.

"highest cancer in the state" could we have some data to back up that claim. I would also like to see some data on the mercury levels in the water, please include our levels and the EPA's Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs) to compare them with.
