Metro Nashville Council votes not to destroy racetrack
The Nashville Speedway lives on after the Metro Council heard from the largest audience in recent memory Tuesday and voted not to destroy the racetrack at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.

Perhaps if the fairgrounds stay they could find a way for it to make money for Metro instead of costing us the taxpayers.

It would be nice to see NASCAR come to Nashville. That would be JOBS. I hope they find a way. Instead of it costing taxpayers too.
