I don't know, but I know I'm OVER seeing them every single day. In my opinion, a fundraiser is a short term way to provide a service i.e. car wash, bake sale, etc., introduce new people to your organization and receive donations. This bucket thing seems like a way for them to make a regular income. It's crazy! I feel the same way when I see these youth football teams out with buckets at red lights. What are you teaching these kids?? To just ask for handouts, that's what. If you go to Mt. Juliet you don't see their youth teams standing on corners, they are having car washes to raise money.

I agree. Taking up donations for a unexpected expenses such as funerals, medical expenses, etc is not unaccepable but in the case of sports teams, church groups and the like, they have plenty of time to organize a fundraising event.
