Pardon my language in advace, because they FU#KING suck SH#T!!!
I lived in an apartment complex off Una-Anioch Pike. I had two cars, one that I drove on a daily basis to work, pick up guys (hehehe), etc. and the other (which was a junker) to drive up to Kroger, run errands, etc. I went out of town and the apartment complex I lived in had my "errand" car towed because they had the parking lot paved and my car was 'in the way', yet the office never bothered to put out notifications this was being done OR when.
Point of the story: I returned home to discover my junker was gone. I thought it had been stolen and called metro before doing anything else. I was then told by a neighbor, when metro arrived, what happened. I went by Cotton's and talked to the girl in the office. She said I was going to have to pay $500+ to get the car out. Hell, I only paid $400 for the car to begin with. I told her that I would have to wait until I got paid again (lie, because I had no intention of getting the car out) and that I just needed to get a couple of things out of the car (I was going to clean it out). She told me I couldn't retrieve anything from the car until the bill was paid.
Very long story short: I lost what was in the car, which was just a couple of CDs and other crap like that, but after about a month, I got a certified letter from Cotton's, who was now billing me for almost $1500. Don't think so. I called and cussed them like they've never been cussed before, dismissed the entire thing from my mind, and moved a month later.
GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR MONEY NOW YOU IGNORANT DUMB FU#KS! If you want your money, go the office of the apartment complex and have the write you a check. After all it's their damn fault to begin with.
Whew, it felt good to get that off my chest!8
