Tyler man faces charges

A 19-year-old Tyler County man was arrested Wednesday, charged with malicious wounding after stabbing a 17-year-old boy.

Yes, the 'victum' is in my prayers as well as every one else -'good or bad'. That shouldn't even have to be written.

With my children, we have been on both sides, the 'victum' & the 'bad guy'. We've been the 'justice system', we know how things happen behind the scenes, how the truth gets turned around, down trodded, & plainly ignored.

I know Sabastian & his family, I don't know the other person. And unless you've walked in Sabastian's shoes.... NO1 knows what went on between these two boys, or for how long.

I agree stabbing some1 is not the way to handle anything, except perhaps self-defense. But then again made it was self-defense, from other than immediate physical danger.

Altho ev1 is accoutable for their actions, some people think they can play with a person's heart & mind & not pay any consequences. Sometimes, actions other than the normal 'physical violence', should be considered just as 'malicious & deadly'!

I'm not following your last two paragraphs. However, how can something be considered self defense when you try to run the other person off the highway.
Also, when one is only 17 as opposed to 19 shouldn't the older person be just a little bit more mature???

You said it Sad! But mark my word, nothing will be done to him. I bet the most he gets is a slap on the wrist. It's always the same with these punks. The paper will say what all is going to happen to him week after week, but then it will all blow over.Remember the kid that robbed the woman at the Dairy queen? I saw him running around yesterday.and what about the Leek brothers? Everytime ya turn around those guys are robbing or beating up on someone. But, I see them out all the time.you see the same names in the papers all the time. I saw Timmy judge was in trouble again. How many times have we seen his name?Not enough I guess.what ever happen to the smith guy that molested the little girl? That just fizzled out.Go figure

That may be the case in some places..but in Tyler Co. theprosecuting attorney and the assistant p. attorney are both Republicans .. Sheriff of Tyler is Republican and all the commissioners are Republicans. The only magistrate working right now is also ..you guessed it, Republican. This kinda blows your theory.

If ya saw the paper today you will see that the stabbing is in there telling us what we knew two days after the stabbing. Just told us what we allready knew. Also you will see that the old favorites are back in there again. Timmy Judge,one of the leek brothers and someone down on good ol' Klondike ave. But I don't understand something, nobody from Timber Ridge.

Has anyone noticed since the new editor of the star news started that not a lot of local news from tyler is in there. Very seldom is the magistrate news put in and I've also noticed Paden City High School gets more coverage in the Star News than TCHS. Why?

Did it give a date when rosenlieb's trial date would be? or are they just going to slap him on the wrist and say naughty boy.?

They will put it off and off, until no one cares about it any longer then give him probation.the paper just puts in what they want u to see.It's kind of a way to control things.That is why I like these posts, you can write the truth. Just wish more people knew of this page.
