Drunken Haley brawl at Trustee McCarty's Bar is swept under the rug by Police

Has anyone else heard about the fight that broke out at the old Double Eagle Bar? Word around town is that some of the Haley gang were denied drinks and started a brawl. When a news paper reported tried to get a copy of the Police report she was sent away.

If the reporter was sent away then this is being covered up. More info should be comming out as time go's on ,I sure hope Chief Forester is not playing this game!.

Good old boys club in Antioch Strikes again. How can that report be denied unless they were selling booze to minors? Where minors there and that's why the report isn't given up.

Does anyone have the name of the newspaper? I'm sure Chief Fagen would not have covered something like this up, but then again he wasn't appointed by CAP. Maybe someone should ask the former sargent, who just turned in their stripes...

No, you know how Larson **cked over Fagen.She worked hand in hand with Del Ray until he could no longer get his name on the ballot , then she cut him loose. That will come back to haunt her and her chief adviser she had then.

Yes, it is true there was a fight at VIP Sports Bar. It was last Friday night. Why is this not in the papers yet?? Sounds like a CAP cover up.

This is why the law should have held up to keep a Trustee from holding a liquor license. This should be proof that someone wants to pull a favor to cover this up. Why was there no hearings when Double Eagle changed to a Bar only?
Antioch Politics are broke when is someone going to fix it... Please help. I hope the other elected officals aren't afraid to raise there voice about this at the next meeting.

Because the Mayor can just hand out her own liquor licences to all her friends. Why didn't the Elements have to get approval for a liquor license? Because McCarty is a partners with them.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a CAP supporter. I think that hiring your friends and relatives for jobs that they don't do ie: HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR, Lobbiest, etc, is a waste of time, as is the good ol boy system of buying the hierarchy lunch and doing extra things for them personally rather then actually doing your job is wrong, and yet that is what goes on at the PD,Mayor's office and public works under this administration. That being said, no one has offered any proof as to what happened Friday night. It would, I think be difficult to cover this up, without someone having seen something.If any of you witnessed this, please furnish detail.

I have spoken with people with first-hand knowledge and the reports are true. It was last Friday night, the police responded to the Bar which was closed as a result of the fight.

I'm not sure if this is a cover-up but it has not made the papers so far.

This is ridiculous. Bar fights happen all the time and are never in the papers. Now I don't know all the details that went on there but why should this be any different?

You can say one thing for them though, they must have darn good genes to sustain the abuse they put on their bodies, most notably their livers.
