For all those individual's who didn't know the woman who was found in Fox Lake in the snow. Here is alittle background on her from someone who new her well! Her name was Jennene Marie Manlick. She was born in Rheilander, Wisconsin on Feb. 7, 1963. Her Father and Mother were Dale & Colleen Hershey. She was married to Mark A. Manlick and had 5 beautiful children & 2 grand children. Jennene lived in Chicago when she was young but, spent most of her life in Lake County, Illinois. She loved horse's, teaching the young, gardening, making craft's and mostly spending time with loved one's. The "world" has lost one "HELL" of a woman, mother, lover and dearest friend! Jennene had back problem's and was struggling with mental issues that eventually took her life to young. I named her "Smiling Flower" which was the spiritual name I gave her many "moon's" ago. Because every time I saw her she made me and other's "SMILE" when life got you down. She was my whole "Life" and she will be missed "greatly". I "LOVE" you and me and the kid's will see you in the "PROMISE LAND"!!!!!!!!!! I hope your with your parent's and that your finally at "peace' with the pain you have been in for a long time! Tell the "Lord" I said "Hello" and my Father, "Leo F. Manlick" also. You remember the promise we made early in our relationship, to wait until we can ride "FREE" again together where "Angel's" don't need "SADDLE'S"!!!!!!!!!! Adios and don't be cheating on me we are still married by the "HEART"!!!!!!!!!! Love you forever, "The White Coyote" alias Mark A. Manlick, alias "The 13th Gunslinger"!!!!!!!!!!By for now, Darling!!!!!!!!!!

Jennene was someone that i am happy to say that i had the privilege to meet this past year. She was a good woman who loved her family very much and will be missed by me and many others. She has beautiful children, a good husband, and all should say a prayer for this family that i care alot about who are going through a tough ordeal now. We miss you alot and know your in a better place.

Jennene Manlick was my friend and the fact that her death is instantly deemed an accident is scary to me. Her children from her oldest Colleen to her youngest Layla are all beautiful people who deserve the truth about how she died not a bunch of lies prepetuated by scumbags who wouldn't know how to do the right thing in a million years.
I was told by members of her family that her memorial service is scheduled for April 8th at 1:00pm at St Bede's in Ingleside and I will be there to remember her fondly. She was my friend and the children's babysitter when 9-11-01 occurred and I respect her in ways other people seemed uncapable of doing.
I always will miss her and still suspect that the local police in Round Lake Heights, IL are covering up how she eneded up on a bike path walking home to Fox Lake, IL. But then men like Officers Blasco, Officer Dark, Officer Roehlk and Chief Donald Johnson like to cover up how many women in their jurisdiction are being tortured by men who want to be in two places at once and always have an alibi for themselves when bad things happen to good women. May God have mercy on the souls of those who would destroy a good woman and tarnish her memory. I will always miss my friend the former Ms. Manlick anf hope that her death investigation is performed better going forward that has been done up to now.

God Bless the Manlick ids in their time of need.

I do NOT believe it was back problems and mental issues that eventually took her life to young. WTF Mark!!!! the whole thing sounds fishy to me.. how can the coroner so easily say no foul play suspected. is there even an investigation going on?? whoever let her walk alone in the winter is stupid. if that is what really happened??? I would never let my loved one walk in the cold. especailly if they were a tiny woman like she was..this super sucks that this happened. may she rest in peace

I am so sorry for this to happen to a person who loved her Husband and Kids. She was our next door neighbor for many years and a sweet person who did not need to die this young and the way she did. Someone knows what happened to her and who did this. That poor family has to loose their Mother and Wife deserve to know who they are and why and how they can live with themselves for what they did. Just remember that God will know you and ask you why. Mark, my family has your family in our hearts.

My mom was a wonderful women and people shouldnt judge her "she wasnt someone who just died in a bush and nobody cared about" and if someone wants to leave you cant stop them i was there the night she left and disappeared into the snow, I THOUGHT SHE'D LEAVE FOR 30MINS AND COME BACK!!!!!I never thought she would end up were she did. The cornor said they dont really know why my mom died, she had a tiny amount of alchol and prescriptions in her blood, they said she prob. was under the influence and she stopped to use the restroom and collasped into the bush and fell asleep til her heart and body eventually just gave out-i just find that hard to believe my mom was a tough lady and walked all over even in the winter, i know she just wouldnt collaspe in a bush from a tiny amount of alchol it just dosent make sense.Alot of my family find it hard to believe thats were her soul passed and left this earth, but its the truth. we go to the memorial site and decorate and plant flowers on rollins and ridgeland in foxlake, as a place to remember. Its still very hard for my family and I, I was very close to my mom espically.I just wish i could have done more to prevent this, but if god calls you home nobody can stop it. My mom was suffering from severe pain from injuries and was battling depression, i just hope her soul is finally restin in peace and she is not in pain nemore, thats she's with her mom and dad and her sould rides free among the angels riding horses in heaven**I love you mom and nota minute goes by, were i dont think of you and wish you were here next to me smilin and laughin so i could tell you to "hold me mom" one last time!!!!I love you and miss you and forever will...I hope ur lookin down smiling at us and proud of my accomplishments and proud and know im doing my best to take care of your "laylee beans" her birthday was hard without you, and she crys and misses you alot also even tho shes only 8 she misses her mommy and so do I!!!We love you and miss you may ur soul finally rest in peace and ur body be free of pain and ur heart filled with love and happiness finally, Love always ur little girl Lindzey aka ur lydia deetes

Lindsay, I heard that a guy named Patrick Thompson was going around claiming to have found her body. He says he was interviewed by police as well. The details he was giving everyone was not accurate by any means. So I dont know why this guy would involve himself in this case, and claim to be the one who found her. Maybe you could ask fox lake police if they did actually interview this guy. He moved from the area right after this happened and has now returned from what ive heard. You never know, this might be helpful in some way.

How low can someone go.
Pushing your book with a web link while offering it free to someone in grief.
I bet you hang out at funeral homes and cemeteries too.

Let people grieve in their own way.
If your book is that good and meant for them it'll find its way to them.
Maybe by a real friend ( you certainly are not ), family member, co-worker, or maybe they'll just seek such books out on their own.

They certainly don't need money hungry people like you chasing after them in hopes of selling it to others.
