I would like to let the people of this community know about the danger they have been subjected to at one of their town’s hotels. I wish to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.
The hotel is the Best Western Heritage Inn at 3210 Delta Fair Blvd.
The man responsible for this danger is the manager, This is a 3 star family hotel.This manager has been allowing sex predators to stay at this property for 11 months now and still continues to bring more of them in weekly.quite obvious he is making a personal profit for himself.
At this moment there are 10 different men staying there and the state pays for their stay. They have ankle monitors on them and their parole agent does check up on them occasionally.
But my concern is the safety of the other guests and the poor employees. Those girls are working there all alone all the time, even the night shift is there all alone. And I learned that there is absolutely no security or cameras of any sort there. Plus I was told by one of the employees that they were not even informed of the fact that these men were sex offenders. They learned the information by total mistake one day looking at the web site called “Megan’s Law”.
Now how does that make those women’s family feel when they have to send them off to work all night long with those type of guys right there with their mommy or wife or sister or daughter? I know I would not be happy. In fact I would make her quit if it were my wife.
And the guests that stay there…What about them? There are no signs posted that inform them of their neighbor in the next room…
These guys may have been reformed and they be did their time for their crime BUT they are registered sex offenders none-the less and they are required to be registered with the state which means they have certain areas they are to reside in which is to be posted for the public to see. Does everyone that is planning a vacation have to check out “Megan’s Law” each time they plan a trip to see if the motel they want to stay at is offering those sort of dangers? Totally ridiculous if you ask me. I admit they do not need to be humiliated any more than they have been already because there are certain ones who did commit a crime unknowingly, such as dating a young girl that dressed herself up to look 15 years older. Those are the innocent offenders and do deserve a chance in society. But what about the ones who have habitually used foreign objects on young kids or repeatedly raped women or children?? They should be locked up for life if you ask me, not allowed to walk free at a three star hotel only 4 blocks away from an elementary school, right across the street from a large shopping mall and in the same parking lot as a bowling alley that has a weekly cosmic bowling for the young teens of the town that are there until 2 am on that night.
Come on Antioch…do something to prevent these sorts of things before the unimaginable happens to one of our kids or women.
In short this manager is no sort of man when he allows his female employees to work under such danger. And he is an “on site manager” that is hardly ever ON Site. Especially on the weekends he’s never there. What sort of protection do those people have? None accept the police who have been heard asking the clerks when the manager is going to get these guys out of here?? The police...they don’t even think it is wise.
Think about it…do something about it…
