I loved every thing about this story except the urging of the two daugthers to marry wealthy men. I am sure there are a lot of successful women out there who cringed when reading this. Did she encourage her sons to do the same thing? No offense just making a point on how far we have come (I hope).

She demanded that her seven children get educated and urged her two daughters to marry wealthy men if possible.
