County nixes fireworks talk

Dona Ana County's fireworks ordinance won't be changed to allow year-round vendors to sell aerial devices to out-of-area residents.

McCamley better reconsider his future in politics after his poor judgment in the fireworks fiasco. Not only does he appear to be in the pockets of the firework vendors, he managed to annoy both concerned citizens who were happy with the original ordinance, as well as the local fire departments.
