K Mart in oak hill.

Does anyone like to shop at K Mart in oak hill? I know one thing I hate it. The store is is unorganized dirty and the managers are rude. And obliviously the General Manger doesn't care what his store look like. They never have more then one register open. The shelves are all cluttered. Does anyone know what zoning is up there.

Their prices are way too high (if you can find the price), there are never people there to help you find what you are looking for, and if you need the manager--she is RUDE!!!! I do not and will not shop there!!

That place is a horrible place to shop and work. The higher ups in corporate office won't part with anymore money than they have to in order to have enough employees. They like to hire young kids who dont want to do anything but stand around and joke. They've had good employees in the past who they screwed over time and time again. Instead of hiring enough people to run the store in a orderly manner they would rather pull the one and only cashier and have them perform tasks other than that which they were hired for. Which means customers generally have to stand for hours in line at the service desk to check out or recieve any other kind of assistance. No wonder they can't keep employees. To much backstabbing and gossiping taking place as well. People would be really surprised at some of the stuff that goes on in that place. I don't know how it has stayed open as long as it has.

K-mart is an alright store, but I agree about the one in OH. I usually just go to the one in Beckley if I want to buy from K-mart. It's not like a ghost-town there.

Shopped there today. I was looking for a secret santa gift in the jewelry dept. I couldn't believe how many empty boxes I saw. There were about 10-15 known thefts. lol. I guess they just don't care that people are walking out with merchandise.

I went to Kmart in Oak Hill, with my fiance and bought a pregnancy test not because I had missed a period mind you but because I had gained a little bit of weight, but anyways I knew one of the girls that worked there, I had went to high school with her. So, anyway she was the only cashier they had working so I put my stuff of she ran me up and didn't say one word to me... But later that week she went up to my Mother at her place of business and asked her if i was preggo because she saw me buying a test.. Tell me is that not invasion of privacy!! I was pissed because i then got a phone call from my mother bitching me out big time.. I'm 20 years old its none of her business what I buy! Needless to say i filed a complaint, I dont believe any action was taken against her.. WTF

This is the BEST K-Mart I have been in, nice people, clean, and good prices.

K-mart is ok.The only problem I have seen is they need more cashiers to check people out.

The only good thing is that they have layaway. Walmart has lost a lot of christmas shoppers because of that. I hate walmart anyway. I wish there were some mom and pop shops that had everything we needed. I would rather give locals my money instead of big chains.

Well, that is what Wal-Mart wants. Drive everyone out then charge what they want. People over in Summersville's Wal-Mart has raised all of their prices.
