It was on the tv tonight that a Marshville Council Member was arrested for forgery.

Imagine that!

Interesting. One is innocent until proven guilty, though. Wonder if she will step down to avoid embarrassing the town further?

Doubt it.

Once again, Marshville looks bad. Wake up people! Pay attention who you are putting in office. Maybe someone with a little quality will run for office in the upcoming election. This will not affect her position on the council until, if and when, she is found guilty of the felony charges. Only then will she have to step down. You know it will be YEARS before that happens with our judicial system. The irreparable damage will be done to the town. She and her cohorts have done far too much damage to our police department already. It is becoming rather obvious why she has such disdain for law enforcement, isn't it? Too bad the publicity Marshville is getting, yet again, is negative.

Goes to show what goes around comes around. A bird never flies so high that sooner or later it's tail hits the ground. This is very sad. Sad for Jimmy and the rest of his fmily. My heart goes out to them and for their sake I hope they find the truth. Greed makes people do bad things.
I am sorry for them and the people in Marshville. Seems as though Marshville is in the news every week. It's embarrassing to everyone here. Well life goes on but people who trusted her are going to be very upset if she did it. Time will tell.

Maybe someone should investigate the old lady's death? With that kind of money at stake, who knows what lurks in the minds of men (or women)??

It would be prudent to exhume the body for poisoning tests.

Gene wonder why they did not suspend her like they did to our officer. He was put on hold until further investigation. Sounds like a litte
bit of changing game rules here. The officer has now been discrimanated against and treated unfairly the first time. He is a better man than I because they would already be talking in a court room. Here again laws are made to only be
broken.

Thats a good point too; she is up on 2 FELONY charges, but the officer was only "investigated" for "proceedural" compliance, yet suspended. That aspect slid right by me. Interesting.

Very interesting "Home New's" this week! The funny part of this is knowing that former Marshville Sgt. Scott, Chief Mike Gaddy & many many officer's are sleeping very well, with a big 'ol grin! ROFLOL!

And she was arrested & cuffed at her job, AT A CHURCH no less. I'll bet that church is going over it's books!(Doc Henry as well).

I asked someone who went to high school with her, "chainsaw" was a nickname given to one of her sisters. She has two or three sisters. Old ladies everywhere, beware!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the "Women For Progress" will redirect their fundraising for minority scholarships to fundraising for Denise's legal fees.

YA THINK??????

In reference to the above statement: It seems to me from what you say for law enforcement to go into the house of the lord and handcuff an individual and she then be released on her own written promise as per news release, is just law enforcement trying to project show of power. Is there politics involved in this case because I have read in news articles of conflicts between this council woman and law enforcement?

Obviously Denise has nothing but disdain for the law and feels herself above it.

She has sure wreaked havoc with the law enforcement in Marshville. I would imagine that whoever arrested her that day was not a member of the Marshville law.

Speaking of the law, in this country, one is innocent until proven guilty. Unless you are accused of something wrong by the niece of a Marshville council member. Oh, right, the Marshville council members are above the law. Duh! I forgot!

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
