I wonder if this is just some man who passed away from natural causes or if it is considered a homicide? There is yellow tape around the trailor and they are looking for a white van.

i drove past this scene @ 1pm and then @ 6pm. it was like nothing ive seen before..the entire property was tapped off and about 7 deputy cars on the street! sounds like foul play if the van is missing!

Well I am sure anytime a death occures and no answer to the cause they have to investigate. Don't be surprised if you don't hear the findings to be a drug overdose

Today I found out who it was they found. My wife gave me a call from work because I'm the former UCI officer who arrested him for OWI. I had a subpoena to testify on the 31st. The thing that I keep thinking about is that this trial has been delayed many times. I arrested him in O5, and have received many subpoenas, only to have them continued to a later date. I'm not placing the blame on anyone who delayed the trial, but if this had gone to trial earlier this year (I believe that the last one was May), he probably would have been in Jail and still alive. Again, I'm not blaming anyone who delayed the trial, that usually happens at the request of the defense anyway.

Even with his extinsive record, his life had value. Even some of the worst people in this world have turned their lives around, and ended up making a difference. Maybe he would have done the same one day.

I too believe in second chances and no one deserves to die, but I'm not going to miss this guy either. The article said that in the last 15 years he's been charged with things like rape, battery, pointing a firearm and burglary. I wonder if he was considering turning his life around so he could make a difference?

At the end of the article on the Paladium item online it stated those charges you just listed were dismissed. Lets have some respect. If you didnt like the guy ok, but have some respect for his family.
