Maple Grove is in Minnesota! Look at your map.
The police knew this woman was a danger to the public and the courts knew she wasn't abiding by all of the stipulations they set upon her. Sorry she doesn't deserve anymore chances. Lock her up and throw away the key. She has proven to the courts that she will not do as they say and will contiune to put her children and the rest of society in harms way. |

It's hard to drive at .28 let alone read a map. |

1 Why, I'm surprised they dont just give her another probation sentince, since the last three worked so well.... I hope her children find a safe environment to grow up in, and that this woman gets punished to the laws extent. Maybe this case will be an example of why Probation Officers should follow up on their cases...this maybe could have been intervened. |

Does anyone other than me find it more than a little disturbing that the cops waited at her home while a woman with a Blood Alcohol Level of .28 drove with a 7 year old passenger four miles or so (there and back)?!?!?!?!? I realize that four miles isn't a great distance, but it really only takes 50 feet or less to kill someone in a car. What if she would have jumped a curb and killed someone? Wouldn't those that didn't immediately go after her and arrest her bear a little of the responsibility?!?!? |

Got to admit I dated a women that was similar to this situation & when your an alcoholic all you care about is doing everything for yourself & they never listen to anyone besides themselves... sure glad the kid in the car was safe & VERY PROUD of 12 year-old kid :)
Maybe "Responsibility" is too strong of a word, but certainly one would carry some burden of guilt if something horrible had happened while they waited for her return...I know I would! |

Could it be that the 12-year-old girl was mad because Mom wasn't taking her to McDonalds? Maybe, a mother/daughter catfight.
The mother was proven to be drunk. You seemed to have missed that part. This woman has been given enough chances. Time for her to go cold turkey in prison. I wonder if there's a father in the picture? |
As a parent the mother should have known that many of McDonalds menu items can lead to childhood obesity. Was see charged with this crime?

You must be a Democrat...worrying about little nanny details. |
