No one is above the law. Find him and prosecute him, regardless of his social standing. No excuse. Show him the same mercy he showed Peggy.

I remember this grusome murder In Lebanon, where I lived all my life. Pretty sad. I was 14 years old back then and my parents would not answer my questions concerning this. It was the talk of Lebanon for a long time. I also remember Art Root being accused but I don't remember him being acquitted for it. Hats off to Mr Boyer, who till this day ,40 years later, is staying by her(Peggy)side. He has a heavy heart and I hope that our great Lebanon Police Chief, William Harvey, will persue to find that awful person and bring him/her to justice. Its never too late to prosecute a murder like that. How can something like that be ignored for all these years? Its time to find the person responsible.

Hi Lonnie -- I grew up in Devon and was attending Strafford Elementary School when this happened. Wayne has sure changed since I lived in the area.

Lebanon, not so much, in some cases.

This case is not being ignored. It is just not moving on a track that is fast enough in the opinion of many.

There is lots of circumstantial evidence in this case, but brining this to trial requires more...
