Looks like Snavely and Ostrich have been colluding with Gingrich to unseat the very popular and duly elected Braden. What a bunch of sniveling spoiled brats.

Gingrich says: "I respect the will of the (committee)"

Translation: Yeah, unless they vote against me, in which case I'll convince the last few Republicans who support me to find some Democrats to back me up. And I'll act like it wasn't my idea at all.

Bad enough he's going to single-handedly fork the courthouse over to the Ds; why not just let them run the GOP meetings too?

Hats off to these 2 for trying to get something going forward! The State GOP should really be the ones to act on this but they seem to be in no hurry and also said that they would not settle who was in charge only who would have the vote on state committee. What kind of a lame position is that!!

Just like Al Gore, Gingrich will keep re-counting those votes until he gets his way. What a blowhard. Good thing his mommy got him one of them there state jobs.

Pat Braden has been well schooled. She realizes that Pa. State Senator Mike Folmer inside partisan connections and influence within the PRP will help her greatly in this challenge.

A three party independent nonpartisan panel throws Mike Folmer political influences and connections right out the door.

If I was Pat Braden I also would not want this decision made strictly off the bylaws.

I thought I read where the panel was negotiable. Teabaggers just hate true democracy.

Didn't Ostrich just submit an op ed to this newspaper backing Mike Folmer's $1 billion dollar tax increase to fund privately owned corporate welfare funded charter schools ?

Pinch me, I must be dreaming, but did the so called chairmen pf the GOP just say " I'm relying on these particular (party leaders) to take charge"????

Correct me if I am missing something but isn't SHE in charge?

Also, weren't the tea party folks like Braden the ones who thought these past chairs were full of crap, corruopt and part of the problem? Now they are waiting on them to "take charge"?

Confusing!

How is having a hearing on the bylaws of the LCRC using qualified lawyers more recounting votes ?

You teabaggers are a very unsual group to say the least. You people see, hear and read stuff that just doesn't exist.

Basicially what the tea party and Braden are saying is to heck with useless things like compromise, impartiality and bylaws.

So they would say that legislators have the ability to both create law and decide what it means too? I know they wanted to make cuts in gov't but doing away with the judiciary is too much!

Do all teabaggers suffer from ADD ? The article states that the panel was negotiable and Braden still was a NO.

These behaviors seem far more like anti government cult movement then the following of our constitution.

Braden is obviously suffering from paranoid schizophrenia or dementia when she won't even trust the decision of an independent panel of lawyers that she can help pick.

Why all the fuss? Republicans stand for smaller government but Folmer just voted to expand education costs. Does it really matter who chairs the party as our current republican leadership will vote however the their big contributors desire. Please Senator Scarnati, don't insult the intelligence of Pa. voters with your lame story concerning the Super Bowl Trip.

So instead of the Tea Party movement reaching out to the Pa. Republican Party for an interpretation prior to a vote, they just made up their own bylaws and voted anyways.

However, many on the committee claim the bylaws are unclear on who should take over when the chair is vacated. Many of these individuals were among the roughly 50 new members elected to the 165-member committee last year. And many have an affiliation with the so-called tea party movement.

When it doubt teabaggers just make up the rules to fit their needs and then voted.
