I am a firefighter I never talked bad about the firefighters I talked bad about the city of East Prairie. Its not the firefighters fault they are not properly trained. I know most of the department personally, and yes they would go to training if the City would send them. And yes I do know what I'm talking about I have serveral hundred hours in training and a past career of firefighting. Now some of you know who I am call me and I will let you know. But once again its the citys fault these firefighters are not trained not the firefighters themselves.
Well correct me if i'm wrong but on the first page is sure sounds like your bashing your own people. Plus i didnt say anything about fighting, i dont fight unless i have too and this would be a stupid reason to.

All I can say is, that place went down hill after they got rid of Nick Thurman and sold it!!
I agree whole heartedly, it really went down when they changed it into Dixie's II. I worked there when nick ran the place, and it was a great place to work and to hang out, no fights, a few coolers stolen every once in a while in the summer but that was about all the trouble we had. Nick was a Great boss but certain members thought they could do it better, we all see where that got the place!

LMAO your joking right? haha stop... wait... I have to catch my breath. The place couldn't make a profit with Nick out there drinking it up. That old man is too drunk to even sit on a barstool much less manage the bar. hahaha

OOOOOw Sounds like I hit a nerve, guess you were one of them that wanted him out of there. Great choice!! Where is the place at now? and for your info we were makeing a profit, nick handeled his business before he started drinking. If you wanted to find out who was skimming check out the people handeling the bingo part of the operation. at least two pockets got a silver linning from that part of the club. Saw a lot of people to drunk for a barstool and you were prolly one of them!

The East Prairie Fire Department burned it down. Just like all fires they go to. The fire department has the problem of not saving anything, just burning it to the ground. I have seen several fire the department has arrived on scene with little fire showing and in a couple of hours the building was on the ground. All though its not always their fault, what the Fire Department needs is a true leader with experience and lots of training. Im not talking about these once a month business meeting with no training Im talking about good old fashion fire training. Please get some training and start saving the citizens property.
Let me tell all you idiots somethaing the big book club was lost becouse of the alchole burning and not enough water. East prairie along with all of the fire departments that were there were using 1 1/2 inch hoses for attack lines with the line constantly spraying the fire. all of the departments used 2" lines to transfer water from truck to truck. the whole reason that the place was lost is becouse there was no water supply close enough for any of us to hook into we had to go about 2 miles to refill the transport trucks with water and wait on them to get back. so next time any of you want to go running your mouths about fire departments go suck on a big dick and then burn in hell
