Daniel Golden's family are some of the finest people I know. I met them where? At the funeral of my son Officer W Eric Freeman who like Daniel, was shot and killed while protecting these crime ridden streets of our city. Daniel's killer, as well as Eric's, will be approaching sentencing once the Grand Jury files Capital Murder charges against them. In the mean time, they are entitled to due process of law - while our sons lay in their cold graves, leaving behind wives and children. Alabama tax payers will house and feed them, giving them healthcare - that many of the children of this state do not have. A roof over their heads and three meals a day. I've been informed that there are a few that have been on death row almost 20 years. Eric and Daniel were not given 20 years...justice? You tell me.. A grief filled family of Daniel and Eric wonder just where the justice lies.

I hate to inform you honey we have no judicial system anymore. Everyone has "rights" while ours are offended by the criminals. I am sorry for your loss. I made a C minus in Intro to Law Enforcement (Im pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice as a Forensic Investigator) because of my beliefs. I personally think that they should let yourself and your family in a room with the killer of your son and let you guys take care of him.

oh yeah and not to mention, my good friend was hit by a drunk driver coming home from her little brothers football game year before last. It killed her and her unborn child. She was 23. The man that killed her had several DUIs and forged instrutment charges from years ago and he got 25 years, and that's it. He is 34, so when he's roughly 59, he will still have a goot 20 years to live so speaking. Is that what my friend and her unborn child's life is worth?

you are a douche and i hope some one punches you in the face. it is sorry losers like you with no sympathy or compassion for others that are leading this country straight down the shitter. this woman lost her son, who ironically enough, was sworn to protect your dumb ass. maybe it is time you realize that there are other people in the world besides yourself. grow up loser.
