Well if you enjoyed being called a redneck thats fine don't do anything about it but this is not a case of whether or not someone loves you but the fact that as American Citizens and by the rights granted to everyone by the US Constitution we have a right to enjoy all the treats that come with this democracy. The fact that this family cannot enjoy peace in a home that they worked so hard to get and because some crazy bozo can't live with that should not be tolerated.We are ready to go to war to fight other people's battles and yet we have our own wars of racism and poverty and these are not only issues that black people deal with(I'm pretty sure rednecks too) then how do we justify condemning other people for thier wrongs.

What if the roles were switched in this case for example Jena 6, they were ready to sentence a children to life in prison for protecting themselves. I think that we have to get a little more educated and stop being so ignorant.

PROUD TO BE BLACK

So many postings are quick to bring up Jasper, Jenna, etc.. We can lament about all of the true atrocities this nation's whites have done to this nation's blacks. The slave trade was wrong, and was as much to blame on conquering tribes in Africa, as it was on rich whites in America. Although not soon enough, it was abolished. Dr. King opened the eyes of millions, and many of us grew up believing all were created equal. Things still aren't equal, but they're a little better most every day. Arlington has recently had a black mayor, and there's real hope that Obama will be our nation's leader. We HAVE come a long way, but not with the help of a couple like Broderick Gamble & Silk Littlejohn, who will parlay a single incident into a call to arms of his race against the other. We can't all get along if we are to believe a black man because he's black, just because we always feel he's the victim due to past atrocities. We can't forget the past, but we can't keep digging it up in order to support a cause we don't really know all of the facts about. Some of the most irate postings are from people nowhere close to this city. Gamble is making this a race issue with the city & the neighborhood, when it is based on an alleged singular incident with one little old woman that he & his "wife" couldn't protect themselves against. They are pressing charges, and that's why Grace Head was arrested. There is no verdict declared by a court of law, so nearly every bit of this story the press has told, they had no evidence for. And most of the press is not using the word "alleged", when they shouild be. It's a they-said/she said story, and everyone is taking sides based on race. The city has done more for this couple than they should, just to try to keep everyone happy, and Gamble & Littlejohn are milking it for all they can get. This is only one of the cases where this couple is playing the race card, and they are doing it at the jeopardy of the developing respect the races have been building with each other. They are suing Home Depot for racist profiling, while Home Depot clains that Gamble & Littlejohn were stealing building materials from them. And there's one with Shear Cuts too. Where's the proof that these suit-happy race-card players didn't paint the messages themselves just to exploit their so-called victimization. I live in this neighborhood, which is mostly white, but has never has any racial tension with those of color we live with, that I am aware of. Gamble's & Littlehjohn's disrespect for this neighborhood, by way of frequent code violations has caused the anger & disgust we have for them, not their race. If you're buying their story JUST because they are black claiming to be victimized by white, then you are a racist too. In a country were we now have a good chance to elect a black man president, give the courts a chance to make judgement based on the facts, not on race, and respect their decisions.

Psalm 66:1-7
1 Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth;
2 sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!
3 Say to God, "How terrible are thy deeds! So great is thy power that thy enemies cringe before thee.
4 All the earth worships thee; they sing praises to thee, sing praises to thy name." [Selah]
5 Come and see what God has done: he is terrible in his deeds among men.
6 He turned the sea into dry land; men passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him,
7 who rules by his might for ever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations -- let not the rebellious exalt themselves.

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

Good Grief people, Silk Littlejohn and Broderick Gamble painted these slurs on THEIR OWN doors just so they could claim racism and get some money.

Thats the truth and you know it too.

You're preaching to the choir with me. I suppose I wasn't perfectly clear in my last post. The "them" in "...nobody believes them" are Gamble & Littlejohn. I was referring to how the numbers dropped from 300 to 200, and are nearly non-existant after he pushed the female code enforcement officer. Unfortunatley there are still a few that are blinded by Gamble's & Littlejohn's snow job. The most recent example is in the following thread:

The truth will prevail.

How very interesting indeed, 200 whole people, half to protest in an area with well over 3 million people in it?
